the biggest difference with FT is that is the CF + EQ + Boost so the output is even louder and you can tone shape it a bit. The custom one has a 2 band EQ, 4 clipping modes, FAC input, and a fuzz control (actually amount of gain)

Hit it. Pair it with the AOR or Carvin and you are in Doom tone heaven. The other guitarist in Khemmis uses an X100B with a Sonic Titan and/or BAT Ritual in front. Sounds huge and swampy, very close to the first HoF album IMO. :!!!:

Also, if anyone is into Trap Them, they posted a new song. I'm more into it than the last album. Dunno if it'll match up to Seizures in Barren Praise for me, but I'm excited all the same.

I duuuuuug it. The track title is cool. Blissfucker is less interesting. Salted Crypts is very cool sounding though. Track sounded good/sounded like Trap Them.

Nice! Congrats.

Ugh, speaking of, I'm done trying to get my Micro Terror to play nice with the HM-2.

My second HM-2 arrived today. It's also made in Taiwan. It is different sounding from my other HM-2 though, much more low end, almost too much. It sounds better with the amp distortion turned down though than my other HM-2, with which I needed to crank the amp's distortion to get a decent sound.

The DOD Super American Metal also arrived. This is a *very* convincing clone of the HM-2. It almost sounds better except that it produces much more noise.

I think I foresee another amp in my future, one that will play nicer with these pedals. I think the fact that the Micro Terror only has the 1 tone knob is an issue here. Not sure what a good amp would be for this sound. Any suggestions? I am partial to small amps that I could pair with my Orange PPC112.

i really like those laney cub heads…i played one ages ago, and remember really liking the tone. It has a full EQ plus master tone…and a <1w input as well so you can crank the gain on low volume…should sound good for the HM2 i think :idk:
