I decided against cheaper pups because I would be less confident that I would be happy with them.

Yeah I'm sure they'll be rad.

Before and after clips would be pretty awesome, too.

I don't have a problem with other people doing it unless if they came to my shed to jam. Drink all they want but I don't want anything else around since there are other people who come into the unit. Hell my cellmates across the hall smoke all the time but I try to make sure I'm not there when they are. I just want to vomit at the smell and if they come there while I'm doing stuff they at least try to wait till I'm gone before they start up.

As someone who smokes irregularly, I hate the smell of weed.

They had Oberon, Double Heart or something like that and one with a Dandelion on it. I got a party tomorrow for a fallen friends birthday and was thinking of picking up a sixer, which do you guys recommend? I'm usually a cider or belgian white drinker.

Two Hearted is an IPA, but it's one of the best you'll find. I'd recommend Oberon since it's probably the closest to a Belgian style you're used to but it's absolutely sucked the last few years. I think the Smitten Golden Rye will be unique. It's gonna be a little hoppy, but the rye will add a nice spiciness and overall should be nice and crisp.

Thanks dude!!!! I will def avoid the IPA, I dunno what it is but I just can't finish an IPA. :idk: The Smitten is definitely the other one that was there, I might try that one as I like a crisp beer with a lil bite n spice (kinda like a good cider). Kinda shitty that the oberon has been bad for a while as it did look like the lightest of the bunch which is what I usually go for. It's up in the air between the Smitten or locating some of the Woodchuck Chocolate Cider that just came in season....

I might even break out the 750ml of Sailor Jerry's I've had since last October if I'm feeling spicy. :yay:

interested to hear your thoughts on it...i was thinking about getting those for the Iceman

They're very dynamic pickups that can clean up easily with the volume knob or light picking but can get hairy and gritty if you dig in hard. Tonally they are very mids and bass heavy with just the right amount of top end bite. They are definitely not scooped sounding like you would think a "black metal" pickup would be, quite the opposite actually. The neck pickup is nice and full and sounds amazing for solos and lead lines but can get a lil too thick for chords under a huge amount of gain. The bridge pickup has great clarity even when playing complex chords under insane gain, it definitely has alot of cut for faster work but also has alot of sustain which is great for slower riffs. Overall I'm very impressed with them and they curbed my BKP GAS for about half the price.

That sounds exactly like the pickups i ended up getting from a local guy...the bridge on mine has A8 magnet and the neck is a lot softer with A2...but both still very hot and split coils. The neck on single coils is great and can easily go from clean to distortion with volume knob. It was only slightly cheaper than the Black winters...but took ages to complete. So now i know for next time!

Don't sell it. I sold my epi LP and it was great feeling guitar and i regret not dropping some better pickups into it and keeping it. I think if a guitar plays well then its a keeper most sonic aspects can be altered to what you want.

I believe the SD BW bridge pickup is an A8 as well, not sure of the neck though. I got mine on eBay as a display model for I think $158 shipped for the pair. Pretty fair in my opinion.

Go with the black winter. They look cool and would be an improvement over the stock. I don't think they would hurt the resale value, but I don't think they would add anything either.

Also, FFOM http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2014/04/mastodons-troy-sanders-talks-new-album-once-more-r.html Info about the new album. Downside is that it seems to be starting where the hunter left off and looks like no epic songs. Upside is Scott Kelly is on there again.

My girlfriend really loves all the woodchucks. I think the fall is her favorite. There is also a meat and beer place that opened near me that has a cider on tap. That one was great too.

If I'm drinking 95% of the time its woodchuck, and the fall is definitely a beast. I really like that one and the amber, I think I've had the granny smith ten too many times though haha. On tap small brewery ciders are a rare find around here but are usually killer, if I ever start home brewing ciders are definitely where I will start.

It's cuz they keep all the good shit inside state borders.

I like a lot of Woodchuck, which says a lot cuz I don't like many hard ciders. I say go for that chocolate one.

Saying Oberon's been shitty may be an exaggeration on my part cuz a few years ago it was really really good, and the quality has suffered some since they've started producing lots of it and it isn't the same. One may still really like it.

I've got a pax handheld vape, a decent bong and other assorted small smoking devices, but there's just something so lovely and perfect about a blunt. With that said, I don't give a shit if all that's around is a soda can or an apple. Just gimme da cheeb. I dig beer a lot, but could go without forever as long as I've got weed.
