i dont want to run a stereo rig or anything like that...and i dont have the space for more cabs. But, i will want to use both amps (one at a time) and i'm too lazy to keep unplugging the speaker cable from one head and put it into the other, and also wouldn't want to screw up a head by turning it on and forgetting that its not plugged into speakers.

So my question is...is there some easy cheap device that allows me to always have the two heads connected to the 1 2x12 cab, and it just works based on which ever head i ON at the time?

everything i see on google is people asking about stereo rigs, so couldn't find an answer there.

I think you want something like this right?

Skip, Maryland Ren fest is the best. I have actually driven down from NYC to go back there because it is the best. New York has a good one but Maryland is the best. Although I miss Hack and Slash. http://www.bevmo.com/Shop/ProductDetail.aspx/Wine/Fortified-Dessert/Bunratty/Bunratty-Meade/5915 And I think this is one of the meads that they sell at the wine store near me and it is pretty good.

And god damn Matamps out the ass.

I do not have fond memories of my few Bunratty experiences, but I will allow that tastes vary.

Somehow missed this..

Dude you and yours should come down too then!!!

I agree Maryland ren fest is definitely the best, I think alot of it has tot o do with the permanent buildings they put up and the reoccurring vendors that always show up. It's so established that people feel it has to be great or its not worth doing.

Yup, them Matamps making a presence in the DR!

Now that you say that Celticelk, I think the one I posted is the spiced one that my girl friend and I didn't like very much. There is another one with a shield on the front that we more often. I haven't gotten mead in a while so I forget the brand names.

Could someone explain what the depth knob on a matamp does? Also, is it the same as the FAC on old orange amps and hovercraft stuff?

Ren fairs are a lot of fun. You will have a great time. I'm sure my girlfriend would be down to drive down again. I'll have to be good this year and not have some party or even to go to the day before. The past two years I have been hung over as all hell.

And as far as I know the depth knob is the same as the FAC. Basically changes the input capacitor to limit the bass or let more through. Nick has some pictures of the ones he put together in his build photos. I copied what he did for the Logos amp. If you put really small caps on there you get a real lo fi sound. Kinda neat for recording.

For Fans Of Mastodon:
http://livver.bandcamp.com/

So these dudes opened up for Whores & Fight Amp at O'Briens, and unfortunately, I missed their set 'cause I was running late. But! After the show ended Jfrey and I were bullshitting around and ended up talking to some of these dudes -- who hooked us up with some free vinyl because we knew who Bob Weston was, as he mastered it (if that isn't the most ILF-y thing ever).

ANYWAY. Album is pretty tasty. Reminds me of Relapse Era Mastodon. Shorter songs.

misterstomach wrote:we make mead all the time at my house. we always have a batch going. currently we have habenero mead in the carboy. we change carboys usually after two or three weeks, then again a month or two later, and sometimes a third time, just to help clarify it. and you usually don't want your berries or whatever you're infusing it with to sit in there for too long. it usually stays in carboys for around 6 or 7 months before we bottle it. usually at that point it's good to drink, but if you let it sit another six months or so it gets a lot better. even with it taking so long, we end up making it faster than we drink it. it's so fun and super easy to do, you just need time. we have such a huge stockpile at this point i don't think we'll run out for a long time. we usually make three to four 5 or 10 gallon batches per year.

Parker. Im driving up to oregon for my bday in June. Can my girlfriend and I purchase some of your delicious mead?

Are you referring to the one in Tuxedo, NY? I went for the first time last year. I've also heard good things about the one in MD.
