Just got the ILFDD in today.
I love it, it sounds awesome.
I've been trying to put together a tiny board.
I'm pretty sure this is getting close to everything I need.

The Elements is Donny's, I borrowed it from him to try.
Definitely going to get one for myself sometime down the line.

I love my CC/DC.
It just does exactly what I need for this board.

The board is a shelf slat I found in the middle of the street while biking home one day.
I need to get some better patch cables, these are a bit wonky.
Which ones should I get?
Just the cheapest ones on musiciansfriend or something?

Your TU2 is buffered so you can get away Roth whatever cables. If you're not going to gig the mechanical quality doesn't matter a great deal either. Get some that look cool!

It's fucking killer.
Also it was awesome to open the package and see the box, stickers, and even the pick still in there.
Thanks dude.

One thing:
Did you adjust the trimpot at all?
It seems to ramp up kinda fast, but I'm not sure if that's normal.
I think I might take a peek inside there and see if I can turn it down a little bit.

Haha, yeah, I'm mostly just concerned with them not falling apart on me!
I've had one too many cables shit out on me.
I haven't gigged in a while but plan to change that.
Coolness is an important factor too, though.
Decisions, decisions.

No problem man, I obsessively hold on to boxes, documentation, what not, I got a stack of shit up the entire length of my wall. Besides the goodies are half the fun of getting a new pedal.

I didn't actually, I felt the same way, but ya know never got around to playing around with the trimmer.

Rad.
I am the same way with things, except that I've actually never bought a pedal new. :erm:
(I hate that because there are so many rad builders on here that I'd love to support)

I'll likely fool around with that trimpot a bit tomorrow night.
Or at least take a look at it and see how it's positioned.
I'll report back to say how it goes!

Ryan said messing with the trimmers was cool! Go nuts!

Probably when I tried it on bass and then I tried it on guitar through my Traynor. Then it was total hearteyes. Was playing a version 4 for a while, then I got my own which was a v6, and today I found this v3 locally for pretty cheap. Sure enough, it outperformed the other two versions in every way possible. Hate saying it and adding to the lame tgp hype, but it really does sound entirely different.

interesting...I recently got the V4 i think...not really sure, i bought it new a few months ago, so assume V4...whats the difference you heard between the the v3 and v4??

To your point...i avoided the OCD thinking that its an overpriced OD pedal...but when i played it, i realised its really nice...and with gain on full on the HP mode, it does a really nice distortion job too!

How you liking that Stone Deaf EQ? I debate getting one at least once a month but can never justify the price.

Same boat here. Have you seen the Penny Pedals Radio yet? Or the Moog MF Drive? Not quite the same but can get similar sounds (at a much lower price)
