Man, i love my spectra fuzz. That shit sounds recorded like hairy balls in the mouth.

It's annoying me that I don't have a cord long enough to reach from the upper to it, so there's a cord going across the face of the pedal. Driving me crazy.

Spectrafuzz is just amazing. I have it in the Upper loop and can therefore crank the spectrafuzz and use the volume control on the upper as a master. I like the way that works.

Wait so is that Laura Bennett pedal an Upper with a volume control? Sounds like an awesome idea! Upper is one of my fav pedals, but it could really do with a volume control cos it gets hella loud sometimes.

The Bennett is an Upper with a volume for just the effects loop, which Tom did for me to help control some of my loud pedals. He's a genius :animal: I've never had issues with it being too loud, but it is loud. I've definitely had problems with pedals being just too loud in my rig, but the Upper isn't one of them.

i use a mxr distortion + to get the volume "tamed" in a board situation. While recording i just hit the amp with the volume: i love that.

having a lot of fun with this setup
presets on a tremolo are amazing to have and the ability to adjust the time in which each preset changes into another one yields awesome sounds.

i think for me its more that i feel like i'm getting more use out of the all the settings in the pedal
like with the particle for instance, i love everything it does but i'm also overwhelmed and i keep changing the settings and can't decide on one.

I've been worried about that with the Particle. Part of what's holding me back.

don't ge tme wrong, its an amazing pedal that does things i havent heard anywhere else(although i can get rainbow machine sounds out of it), but this board has always been designed for live use
i get the impression its sometimes more ideal for someone playing keys
and definitely recording
i could imagine placing it on so many different things in the studio
