My Ludwig Epic Pro Beat kit, bought it earlier this year to have around for recording and rehearsal. I haven't picked up playing it myself that much, used to take drum lessons years ago, before I sold my last drum set. Only had a chance to record with them once so far, for a project that's still in progress, but I'm loving the sounds I got out of it. I want to start working on some solo recordings in the new year and actually use it myself, gotta start practicing again and knocking the rust off. Fellow ILFer Chillerthanmost playing on them here...

I was gonna get the Mahogany Burst color originally, that's what I ordered. Then the guy emailed me to let me know it was discontinued, but they had an "Olive Burst" ready to go. When I opened the box and looked at the shells I just went "Oh yeah...duh, that's the best thing". Green to black burst drums? No brainer, instant awesome.

I love the player date kit. I kind of want to get an identical 24" and switch back and forth between that and the 22" depending on the situation. Excessive perhaps...

Old salvaged Pearls, Stewart snare, shitty hardware and cheap, no-name cymbals.
Tons of fun to play, and they sound half-decent.

Gretsch Catalina club mahogany kit with 20" Istanbul original ride, 15" and 17" Sabian AAX crashes, Aquazarian mini china, Zildjian 8" A Custom Splash
Aquarian Super kick II bass batter can make pretty much any bass drum sound great.
I have this kit exactly how i want it. Took a few years. My grandpas old work stool rocks.
The bass pedal is a MIJ Ironhorse from the 70s. Clunker but i love it. I also have an old Ludwig speed king pedal
and a 22" K Constantinople Flat ride thats very thin and sounds pretty fucking crazy.
