If you like your original shin-ei fy-6 that's fine, I just see the cost VS function VS vintage BS VS placebo effect as chasing one's tail a bit. I like vintage gear and still use a script phase 45 all the time but I really enjoy the things that current builders have done with the old circuits better when it comes to functioning for gigging, I would not gig with a fy-6 or a non modded muff because they don't do everything I want them to
I don't have a clone of a 45 because I'm lazy
you don't like my phones....

since you mention that you only come on the weekends, you miss that i have been getting a LOT of new pedals over the past few weeks. I've already explained the reason for why I'm posting in the manner I have been, I am sorry if that annoys you. The majority of my pedals are vintage pedals. nothing i do about that, except buy moreagain sorry for making you upset, wasn't my intention. perhaps you can just use the scroller on your mouse to bypass my postings if they upset you so much.

Oh, I'm not annoyed or upset, don't get me wrong. I just didn't get the tsunami wave of posts breaking in this thread. I was used to the usual Pedalboard thread.. But things change.
this thread needs a jump start. along with maybe an explanation for why you're pedals are arranged and for what purpose, or a chart like goroth..w0w...or maybe share some cool result that was completely unexpected when stacking pedals in a certain order. i think the gear porn pedal boards over at tgp are pretty blah, here we've got interesting builders with unique enclosures and pedals with ever increasing control over their parameters. just an idea.
i'm not saying that's what i'm doing....i'm trying to make a new recordand posting pics of the pedal lineup that made the cut that day.
well, i'm not talking the shit, but i miss having different people's boards. you seem like a nice dooder UG, but lately it's 1 board or 2 then a whole page of your stuff.
and yesh, it's some pretty amazing stuff, but it's become basically Look At All The Loot UG Has.
i prefered the older way. i like seeing everybody's stuff instead of having to go through 6 pages to see 4 different people.

i use clones live. but i have the originals at home, and they stack waaay different than the new ones (which i also love). i like the og pedals cuz they interact in ways new modded peds with super high gain, etc don't. weird buffers with non true bypass do things to tone that can be beautiful. then again, some pedals have less placebo effect than others.

I wonder though, don't you play clean at all?

Seriously...
No.
....
In all of the songs my band has written, I play completely clean for a total of 2 minutes in one song. And I don't like that song.
I play with a tiny bit of grit a bit (Arc Flash is great at this) sometimes (...rarely), and I do a fair bit of faux hammond stuff with the SV2 volume thinger, the BF-2 on a fast warble rate, and the Hummingbird doing its thing. Every now and again I'll do some reverb washey things with the SV2 and the Nimbus. But I guess some sort of distortion is happening 90% of the time. Lots.
mmm... distorting guitar signals...

I actually sent a picture of a goat with boobs to Road Rage and I ended up getting a stupid god damn looper. I'm just trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
straight clean tone is weird. my Rusty is a tad dirty always, and at least half the time i don't have fuzz or modulation on i plimp on the B3k.

and Mudfuzz saves thread from chatter attack…

Added my Starry Wisdom because I am liking it too much not to have it there
Oh and no the Katana Sound has no added gain and is not TBP
it's the "orange & blue" super fuzz circuit with a tone control, octave toggle and a clean blend, thing is so dope as fuck I has two
