Well, my car is getting junked.

they finally got my air shocks fixed today, but the gauges and air release don't work. almost all of my truck's functions now have to be estimated by feel, since the speedometer, temperature gauge, and shock pressure indicators are all fucked. as is the air conditioning, electric window on the drivers' side, and the heater. it was all kinds of fun driving with no heater when it was 11ºF outside.

I'm getting a bit perturbed that people keep asking me if I'm in a band, or if I'm a tattooer. I say this because I am neither, though I wish more than anything that I were both. Words cannot express how much I feel that my talents are kept from their full potential, and are subsequently going to waste by the fact that I still work in retail.

A friend of mine once said something about how trying to be a successful artist is like having the world say "fuck you" constantly. I agree, though my addition is that the world says "fuck you" with a blindfold on.

It's still very frustrating.

Your art is really suited to tattoo. I lurk in the show your art thread . So this question doesn't surprise me. Work in retail while doing your other stuff - it's nice to have a day job that puts food on the table allowing you to do other stuff in your spare time.

I just watched a documentary about people in England who can't afford to feed themselves properly. People working in the UK who somehow don't make enough to feed them and their families (not fucking imaginary "benefit cheats", people who fucking work). We're apparently a rich country, and our government spends all its time debating stupid bullshit and funding more nuclear goddamn weapons rather than feeding people who are fucking starving.
