That sounds awesome. I love the aesthetic, rigidity, and utilitarian properties of instruments without a ton of knobs or any at all.

That sounds cool to me too! Can't wait to see it, Donny!
I did a little weighing... my EGC baritone is 5.2 kg, 11.5 lbs, my ASAT Classic Tele is 3.2 kg, 7.9 lbs. It's a noticeable difference for sure but no big whoop, especially considering the sound coming out of the baritone is much heavier also, seems right to me.

shiiiiiiet, if the cash I think is coming through this week comes through, I'm super tempted to order an EGC Standard Baritone. A/B to a bass amp and guitar amp, get a little octave down going on....gggggg.
Maybe partying will help.

I've been playing baritone instead of bass in a band for a few years, and have just gotten my hands on an aluminium necked one. It's not an EGC but still...all I can say is I'm never, EVER EVER going back from here. I kinda wanna re-record all my parts on our new record with this guitar...

But can it do more than that Steve Albini sound?

yep! Really surprised with how well mine takes to pedals. The only real difference apart from the much higher output is everything just seems really clear, even when it's running through a couple of green russian big muffs...really saturated but still sings out, if that makes sense.

for sure, these pickups are SUPER clear
originally wanted p90s since my other guitar has hums, but these EGC pickups are far from your typical hb

mine's not an EGC. Although it does have EGC p90s in it at the moment!
