For the guitar on the left channel:
Guitar > Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box > overdriven amp > Shure SM57 mic > Scarlett Solo Studio 3rd Gen interface > GarageBand.
For the guitar on the right channel and the solo itself:
Guitar > Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box > overdriven amp > Scarlett Studio CM25 MkIII mic > Scarlett Solo Studio 3rd Gen interface > GarageBand.
All the vocals were recorded using the Scarlett Studio CM25 MkIII mic > Scarlett Solo Studio 3rd Gen interface > GarageBand.
My band Staff Party just put out a new 3-track EP. I've posted some other stuff we've put out on here and have had some good response so thought I'd give y'all an update. Noise Rock/Post-Hardcore kinda stuff, heavy and a bit sludgy but still melodic

Thanks! Took ages to get something we liked. Probably re-recorded all the bass tracks 3 times before we were happy. Dialing in the right bass tones always seems way harder than guitar.
@KingNeed this is cool! Bit of a throwback. Sounds like a British Deftones/At the Drive-In hybrid. I legit love the chorus on the first track.
You know what it is? It's something about the vocals and post-hardcore-y angular riffs that aren't afraid of getting a bit heavy that remind me of Engerica! I used to jam them a fair bit back in, oh it must've been 2006? And this EP sounds almost as if it could've been from back then.

I love both those bands so that's a fun comparison to hear, thanks! Deftones aren't as much an influence on the way I approach songs in this band compared to ATDI, but I'm sure it leaks through considering the many many hours I spent listening to them as a teenager. Not familiar with Engerica but I'll give them a listen!
Once again this was recorded as a band in the same room, the only "overdubbing" was we flew in the middle solo from another rehearsal.. it is amazing how exact her sense of time was.. the two versions were recorded years apart.. and we had to do NO time adjustment..]\
I have a new band called OROMET. We play melodic and atmospheric doom metal that is slow and heavy but also pretty and majestic. Tons of lead guitar and synths. If you like stuff like Esoteric, Mournful Congregation, Summoning, and Pink Floyd you might be into this.
Here is my latest video (audio only). This is my interpretation of how a nasty wall of fuzz/distortion should sound like. For this tune, I used my Reverend Flatroc guitar, a little bit of the Real McCoy Custom RMC3FL wah and mostly the MJM London Fuzz II and the Sunmachine Reptile Fuzz together:
Instrumental noise rock duo. Sometimes sludgy, sometimes doom. Maybe you like it, maybe you don't.
These songs originated from improvised jams, each part was later meticulously considered, altered, and arranged. Recorded mostly live in August of 2021 at Another Recording Company in Omaha, Nebraska. Vinyl production delayed this release until now.
This is my latest video and quite possibly the last one that I will ever upload as "audio only" to YouTube. This is also an instrumental but I'm only using one pedal here, the MJM London Fuzz II, with the neck pickup of my Reverend Flatroc and the tone knob rolled-back for an extra MUDDY fuzz.
All the words spoken in "A través del Túnel del Sueño" were improvised on the spot. "Bienvenidos al Caos" starts around 08:27 and features the most disgusting and violent wall of fuzz I could achieve by using not one (or two) but four dirt pedals at the same time: MJM Roctavios (with the Boost knob almost all the way up), MJM London Fuzz, MJM London Fuzz II and Sunmachine Reptile Fuzz.
Couldn't fall asleep last night, but by luck I had just been setting up my gear yesterday, so I got up and made some mysterious, possibly-ominous sounds. Found this tape when I got up today.
