Seeing as I am a tool

Ordered a sick ass Virus for my guitar teacher to check out because drunk Max is spending Max

and

Probably going to pull the trigger and put a set of Baphomet pickups in my DE - I might even take it in earlier to upgrade the machine heads to grovers or some sort of locking tuner. I love the shape of this guitar but the pick ups and tuning stability are not what I was hoping for a 1k instrument - however something in me just doesn't want to give up on this guitar just yet - which makes its feel special in some way

@Max I hope you snagged the etched one with the big knobs. It looked so hot.

Uh, I forgot to mention I got a Boss DM-2W a while ago and it is totally worth it. Been ages since I bought a pedal from Boss but this one is top notch, and plays well even when slammed with the loudest signals without volume drops or whatever. Simple and effective.

Oh yeah, I also got another Boss - my third PS-2. Should probably hang onto this one.

My Bob Hund pedal just landed ...800km away from me. Other than that i need to be 1000% pedge for a pretty while.

On the other hand I have access to an h8000 and pcm91 so it may even out some

Ooooh, I’d be interested to hear what you think of the Bob Hund when you get it!

Cheap is a relative term. It was the cheapest I had ever seen (and the seller priced it that way for a fast sale), but it wasn't like $200 bucks cheap.

It was in bklyn too
Tried to make 'em go lower but I shoulda just snagged it outright

This listing was also posted around 1am, so there's also that
The one I got was 350 and it was in pretty much unused shape. No box, non original power supply...but the price was right and it sounds incredible! If it works out with the recovery effects ghost writer pedal, it's going on my pedal board. :yay:

A new pedal from the maker of the crazy Seppuku effects! Rhys I. Gillespie has recently started making stompboxes again. This is a very melodic sounding waveshaper that can be mixed with a nice pre-amp. I haven't had the chance to play more than five minutes with it, but so far it made some very cool sounds with nice harmonics. It can sound like a pure fuzz with a little extra on top. Not an octave-up fuzz ... it's a bit different. I'll have lots of fun with it for sure!

www.rhysi.com wrote: Shring contains a preamp with gain control and a three fold waveshaper with final signal mixing stage.

The wavefolding creates strong even harmonics that sound similar to fm synthesis but arived at with a subtler aparatus.

Higher harmonics accumulate with increased gain settings and react dynamicaly to input amplitude, unfolding and sweeping through the harmonic feild as the signal decays.

Playing more than one note at a time increases the complexity of intermodulation. Note combinations create clangourous and bellish overtones that can be subtle or pushed to the extreme with very little fundamental remaining.

in, the dirtiest bass I have ever seen.. it took me a half hour to get to where it is now.. still could be cleaner.. I have to take a toothbrush with bio-green to the fingerboard... otherwise cool bass.. but I got it to frankenstein out the neck

GAS for many things but buying nothing at the moment?

Really wanting a JCM 900 sounds so I might get a ubershall but I also have been dancing back on the multi effects boards - Kemper, Neural and Fractal all seemingly make really good stuff - I know the HX Stomp is well loved here at ILF and was wondering how many amp sounds are loaded on it. I often stack my Frediman BE OD infront of other fuzzes - and I am finding my current chain really complicated for a simple set up.

I still deeply love my Two Notes with all of the amazing cabs and the clean preamp ( which is how I have run for a while) but my playing on guitar has gone closer and closer to almost caveman simple - Chug Chug sound, delay then riff.

Also I am currently in love with Guthrie Grovan
