Yesterday evening, my partner played a Les Paul for the first time and really liked it. I put a Telecaster Deluxe in her hands and she liked that even more. We are going back tonight because she ended up dreaming about the Noventa Jazzmaster she played last.

She ended up going with the Fender Noventa Strat instead. Hardtail, 2 P-90s, Surf Green, Maple fretboard. It 's a nice counterpart to her Brad Paisley Tele (Strat neck pickup, maple fretboard) and it drives her ambient board well. I picked up a NOS EQD Terminal, making up for the mistake of getting rid of one a decade ago. I'll not make that mistake again.

I fell in love with a Vintara Road-Worn 50's Strat. The neck is perfect since I love a 7.5" radius. Mulling over selling some pedz I don't use for it.

You ever had GAS but dont know where to focus it?

*maximum russling of the jimmies*

I ordered a mono gig bag for my SG, seeing as the original case I got for it was extremely old and one of the latches happen to snap off from rust. A lot of people speak highly of Mono stuff so I am willing and able to give it a go and will probably get more seeing my guitar case situation is kind of ass at the moment.

Cases, cables and small thing have not quelled my guitar / pedal gas. I am currently really happy with all three of my instruments and MOST of my pedal collection - I just want to try something else but a lot stuff out there does the same / sounds I already have.

I was thinking about a EQD Rainbow Machine or a DBA Rooms and trading some of my stuff towards those but none are currently sounds I am writing with - they are just more of a fun distraction from time to time.

Also thinking about the Chase Bliss Blooper - looks fun but is it 400.00 fun? I have bought a lot of loopers only to trade them off when I am done with them.

These are the times that lead me to buying modulation pedals, playing with modulation pedals, then remembering I don't like modulation pedals and selling them off.

This happened to me over the weekend so I programmed a motorik beat on my drum machine and played fuzzy chords over it for half an hour.

It helped!

And then what happens when you decide it is $400 fun and then you realize it actually costs $500?

Sounds rad.

Whenever I notice I'm rapidly switching between wanting totally different things, I realise that this means I don't need any of them and try not to buy things until the urge passes. It mostly works

100% in this spot right now AND have a bunch of unclaimed funds in my bank account. The ultimate test of my resolve; I NEED nothing, but the WANT is strong.

Which also makes me feel gross because it’s a reminder of the hooks mindless consumerism have set in me.

Must…not…buy fuzz pedals. Because I always think I’ll love them and just never use them.

I've been saving money to buy a Moog Mavis, or maybe a new Make Noise XPO, or a Boss RE2/202 or Line 6 DL4 MKII. So naturally, instead of any of those, I just ordered a Recording King Acoustic Tenor Guitar:
