In return he is going to make a shoe gazer for me - I have missed that pedal so its time to come home

Ps. I have really rad new shirts in progress. You guys should buy some
EEEEEEE

MORE FUZZ

In other GAS news - I am super glad the Blacked out Sunn Fett in the BST is gone - my wallet was buring for that and like 15 other things. The wife is starting to notice the pedal addiction, I got away with bloody murder with the Dunnable custom.

I still have that credit at five star that I am saving for my audio interface - which I wont turn around and by more fuzz with.

On the topic of high gainers, I traded a friend an HBE Big D I had sitting around for his big box Bogner Red. Gotta fix the boost footswitch as it's really janky, but it has a ton of good sounds in it and feels more like an actual amp to my right hand than any other pedal I've had. The treble control is super aggressive, though, have to keep it at about 10:00 max or it goes from smooth and thick into grainy/fizzy territory.

After having sold so many pedals lately (and I do have some more, that are still waiting a new owner, btw), I decided to pull the trigger on the Model:Cycles (also because I've found a very good second-hand-like-new deal, with the decksaver too).
It's a very cool funny machine, super intuitive to use, and capable also of some very cool and grinding noises!

I've been trying to (but talking myself out of) buy something for a while now, my latest idea is a 6 string bass, so watch this space.

The big problem is that I don't really want anything, but I really want to buy something, so I'm almost certain to end up with something I'll never use unless I'm very careful. (my recent acquisition of the Circuit Tracks being a good example - I will do something with it eventually but I definitely don't need it).

Six string Basses are hella fun! Lots of great options out there.

I am the same way about gear - I don't need half of the stuff I currently have but I want it. I dont need more fuzz but god help me... I just want moar.

Well it didn't take me long . . . I've got an Ibanez SR306EB arriving tomorrow.

With my Squier Bass VI tuned like a guitar but an octave down I'm tempted to try tuning it B to B so it matches up with everything else, at least to begin with.

I'll need some new strings for it at some point as I prefer light bass strings - my previous 6 strings have been strung 25 (because it's the lightest they do) 30 50 70 90 110, but maybe I'll drop it A to A and see if I like that instead.

It balances great with a strap because of the strap button position. No strap, sitting, it goes straight to the floor (neckdive) if I don't rest my right arm on it. I do rest it automatically so that is no problem for me.
