Thanks...I was having a hard time not making a move on that one...though looks like I'll be exploding my colon unexpectedly. I did SO good for almost the entire month and am exploding here at the end of the month. Just picked up a SSBS Buzz in person locally for a killer price $150. That one has been on my GAS list for a while and it seems like SSBS isn't making new stuff anymore? Still need to find a fuck/heck.
Your welcome  I am really excited to put it in its paces - that's pedal #4 for me this month and its almost all dirt

I dropped my DE off at 12th fret and it looks like the push pull pot stem is either broken or cracked ( some how broke in shipping) but a small copper cap is going to make a good tempoary fix when I bring it back in to drop what ever pick up I decide on getting. ( just have to wait for Sasha to make some)

I also busted through 2 high E strings in less than a month so they are going to look at the Trapeze and bridge to do some fine adjustments. I think after its set up I am not going to upgrade the tuners on Ray's recommendation, I will just have to adjust how I tune and then go from there.

So if your curious to what I think about the guitar is that I am still love it, despite having some issues for a 1k+ instrument. The body, fretwork, over all voicing and feel of the guitar are just too damn good. It actually makes me more lusty over some of the USA made versions of the same thing.

haha...I somehow ended up at 4 as well. Controlled myself on the fuck overdrive that was posted the other day, and it went fast and now I'm all

I also missed a Dunwich DA-120 small enclosure that appeared on reverb and went in the blink of an eye. But YIKES the price it went for. I am not sure I could ever consider something like that. My 4 have been:

1 - Mask Audio Electronics - Tall Font Black Math -- I had to...it was a tiny run, I'm a big fan of Black Math and a bassist primary the Tall Font has the clarity. I couldn't be more surprised at how incredible it actually turned out to be. I feel extremely fortunate to have snagged one.

2 - Spruce/Dirge - Astrolicious v2 -- One came up locally at a really fair price. The seller ended up going radio silent for a week and felt bad so chopped the price even lower and at that point it would've been crazy not to jump at it. I was really curious on this one and another stupidly small run...it's different and can dial in some cool sounds, but the cool sounds you can get aren't anything you can't get elsewhere. I need to spend more time exploring what uniqueness it brings to the table, but none-the-less, it ended up being a giveaway price.

3 - previously mentioned SSBS Buzz --- long time GAS want, and far exceeded my expectations and hopes.

4 - colon exploder from b/s/t -- because vet bills, and super fair priced oddities I've been curious about ends up motivating

...I also got some expansion chips for a moffenzeef msg ii noise synth, but that doesn't really count. So far, I'm 100% over budget

Just ordered a Darkglass Element to play with headphones by myself and with the aux in (yt backing track etc) which can be used via bluethoot!

I think it is gonna be a fantastic purchase, I was doing it with my GK MB210 this week but it is noisy and in the basement. The darkglass should be less noisy, new firmware also let you choose different amps I think and change the EQ. So it does not only act as a cab sim anymore but also a preamp. There is also a tuner which is handy. And the best part is I'll be able to play wherever I want in the house without anoying the GF and having to lug the amp around (whichcI never did, so I always played in the basement).

Really looking forward to it! :joy:

And today it's a total FUZZ GALORE!!!!! :!!!:
From left to right:
- Spiral Electric Black Fuzz (this is a custom one, which I've ordered with some tweaks, basically it's a Black with more bass and gain available, low-cut switch, and an "hybrid Allora-Black" detail/tone control: it is smoooth, thick and sludgy as hell! :animal: Tom liked the final results sooo much that based on this one and another custom Black, he decided, he will release a new Black Fuzz Mk2)
- Boss PW2 Power Driver (I found this for a very interesting low price, and moved by curiosity I got it, what a pleasant surprise!!! To my ears it's like a grungy raw version of a HM2... yes, it does also chainsaw with all knobs at full blast! )
- Stomping Stones Virus (I don't think this one needs any special introductions on this forum :D Just let me say: thank you Jero, I love it, in it's simplicity it's amazing)

Bought a Maestro Discoverer Delay and an EQD Afterneath for my birthday! Picked up the Discoverer in person at a local shop and absolutely love it so far. It's such a simple, straight forward design and it sounds amazing. Seems to be built like a tank too. Afterneath won't be here for a few days

Nice! The Magick "i" is still my favorite OD ever! How do you like the flutter?
I really like it, it adds such cool grit and texture. I love it in the effects loop of my Rubberneck - it gives you a really nice degraded random tape flutter delay. This is actually the second time I've had it. It was one of those unfortunate sacrifices last time I was gassing for something unnecessary and expensive, so I picked up another one. This one is going back unfortunately as it seems like it's not working correctly, but Doug has already sent out a replacement because he is rad! I'll definitely be buying more Midfi stuff this year.

I looks like you have some baby amplifier heads :joy: I always wonder how many watts you really need to keep up with a loud bass player / drummer, what kind of speakers are loaded into the cab?

The speakers are Celestions made for line 6 cabs, so I guess they're like seventy 80s. The baby heads can do 5 watts @ 4 ohm, and the cab can do 4 in mono, so there is plenty of volume on tap, more than I need in the apartment for sure. Cool feature with the mini heads too, if you bypass the front preamp and just go into the fx return, it acts as a clean channel and all the front knobs are bypassed, so guitar/pedal volume becomes the main amp volume.
The Freeze B sounds amazing. The Vulcan Five O is ok but I'm not in love with it, I'll mostly just use the clean channel on that one.

Jammed for over an hour last night,

The set up 12th fret did was fucking tops - plays way better and already feels worth the price. Ray who did my set up said that he noticed the pick ups were a little lower out put - I am not too upset at this because I am over all really happy with the guitar and when I crank it on my head phones I don't notice anything different. When I drop new pick ups I will report back.

Laowitz  sent me what is an amazing looking part garden. Total alternative fuzz tones out of this bad boy.

Hopefully I am I just gonna let me GAS cool a bit and then start thinking of a situation where I can record myself playing. I think this will help improve my playing and I can play some sweet drum tracks as well - I might consider getting the Boss RC500 in the future because it has drum tracks loaded into it.

I love this forum so much

Depends on bass player, drummer, room, cab and amp! I found 50-100 with my last band

I still hold this fantasy on playing with a group of people and would hate to not be loud enough. When I have space and time to store more equipment I will probably get a wicked head ( most likey a freedman) and then run that through a two amps tornado.
