I did a Warmoth build in college that was nice but I could have gotten 98% or better there for much cheaper with an Allparts neck and body. But that was a very staid, boring build. Back then there were a lot of pretty but not exceptional sounding or playing guitars all done up in exotic woods. I probably would have been better off shopping for a whole instrument that knocked my socks off rather than doing that build.
