Re: Gasalcoholics anonymous? whoever said this was a help gr
The GAS hit me like lightning from a blue sky last weekend. Money in my account, thinking about pouncing on a used Tensor, I ended up on the Pladask site two hours before the Baklengs release. The drop turned into a wild herd of pedal nerds trying to push through a tight bottleneck, and after a couple failed tries it became clear I had to use email instead. This apparently worked, as I found out the next day. Very fortuitous.
So today I got the package, and holy shit it's good. Exactly what I wanted and more to fulfill that reverse/glitchy/stretched delay itch. Also I forgot/didn't care to specify the colour but it was a white one, which fits better on my board. Position: second in line after the Tetanus booster's main output, so I can baklengs on just one side or (probs most of the time) through both amps.

Just got this Donner tele, big blem small price ($70)

It's not bad at all! Better than expected for sure. The guy did do a great Fender spec setup on it though. Might be picking up an ultracheap Squier strat soon too. Art/project guitars. For this one I might just go through all my module and pedal boxes to get all the stickers together and cover the whole front with them.
Also got a Flash Stutter a few weeks back, and few more Moskys, P90 Pro, Ch-Vibe, and Blue Ocean still on the way.

eh, fuck the squier...traded my Ibanez AF75 for this bad boy today:

Not a huge dimebag fan but I've always liked this guitar style. Came out way ahead on this deal value wise. ML79 Standard, like new, still had the plastic on everything.

I am not quite sure what pickups they are. Read somewhere that the nobby meidels came with schaller or emg, and read somewhere else that the nobby guitars (because most nobby meidels were basses) had emg pickups. These does not look like emgs so I would guess they are some old schaller pickups. I'll definitely have a look at them when I receive it.

Apparently some german bassist but I can't find anything about him. Well I basically can't find anything about these guitars
Absolutely zero videos of it on youtube or IG or anything. I am very curious about it and can't wait to try it. I am also very curious about the weight and balance, obviously not a great shape to play sitting but when standing it should be awesome.

Althought looking at it, how is the balance? Looks like it would neck-dive quite alot but maybe I'm wrong?
