Yeah I ordered from the custom shop. Figured might as well cause i didnt find any place here who stocked the Elk for some reason. Never figured out what the creamy dreamer did so decided it probably not worth getting. I did get a 15% off rebate for cs im never gonna use if you're toying with the idea alot

How is the clean blend? does the clean signal disappear completely when turned down or there's a part that always pass-trough? i have this problem with this on my IC Muff with clean blend, but the clean blend has been added in a second moment in a really diy way.

So far I have only tried it in mono through my guitar amp, but it is really an impressive sounding unit for such an early digital reverb device.

I've been wanting to collect a lot of those Boss 1/2 racks for awhile now. They seem really cool. Especially some of the crazy delays and samplers.

friendship: I think it is a 12-bit unit like the BOSS RDD-10 (DD-2 in half rack format). The user manual can be found online, I believe the specifications are listed there. So far I haven't found a bad sounding mode. All are cool, even the room reverb modes that I normally didn't use to like too much (BOSS RV-5). The Gate mode is pretty cool. The best thing is that you can have 100% wet reverb effects. The only downside is that the Direct Output knob does also affect the volume in bypass mode. So you have to fiddle around to find out what unity gain is and remember that setting.

I got this Spiral Elecric Allora fuzz in the mail box yesterday.
It's amazing: in the first 30 minutes playing with it I wans't able to find a bad spot! Controls are super interactive, and there are many shades you can create (from low gain almost overdrive style, up to doomed-wall-of-sounds).
I tried it also with my synths and drum machines and... I was blasted away!!! I wasn't expecting it to take so well line levels, and it doesn't cut at all the bass/subbass frequencies, like many guitar distortion/fuzz pedals do! With the bias cranked you can get some wonderful gated/crushed sounds.

I planned to buy myself a reasonably-priced pedal for birthday this week, but to my horror I couldn't find a single thing within my budget that was interesting enough to get me to hit the add to cart button.

Even expanding my budget to include a few more pedals wasn't enough, nor the idea that maybe I could buy a twin to one of my current pedals.

I thought I'd escaped entirely until I discovered that a UK shop now has some in stock, and bought a Beebo.

Way over budget, but as it was the only pedal I genuinely want I thought I might as well treat myself

Agreed. I have a Beebo and it is light years ahead of where it was when I got it. I can hardly keep up with the updates. In fact, later today I plan to update since he released yet another firmware update yesterday that massively improves the UI's snappiness (which I never found to be poor).

been on a bit of a buying spree over the last couple months. looks like my band might break up and its all a bit stressful and didnt touch my guitar for the last few months. that + long lockdown has meant buying things which has been a nice way to re-engage in music. recently picked up a green ringer clone and a crybaby mini which are both fun.

rubberneck on the way. wanted to try a new delay, feeling boxed in by the sound of my elcap and the limitations of my rainbow machine which i have been using as my main delay

also got a freqout on the way. i used to own one and have really missed it so am going to hang onto this one. i often get in the habit of buying/selling/rebuying the same things once and when i get the second i hang onto it.

also ordered an IVP preamp by dirty sock effects which im super excited about it. wanted to get asurveyor from EAE but they are tricky to get in aus and the prices were about the same between the two. keen to try it out and the profits went to charity which is sick.
