I dunno if this is the right thread, but Mark from Earthbound Audio (Super Collider, Throat Locust etc) got a lot of flood damage from Hurricane Ida, and there's a Go Fund Me page if anybody is interested (fundraiser was not started by Mark, but on his behalf).

Ida dumped a ton of rain in the NE in a very short amount of time, and a lot of sewer systems couldn't handle it. Flooding ensued. It looks like his house is pretty wrecked. I wish that dude would make more pedals!!! I love my Super Collider, and I wish I would have bought other ones when I had a chance.

Can't imagine how does it feel to have your home devastated like that..terrible situation , i seriously wish the best for him/them, had the chance to order a Throat Locust directly from Mark this year and he's a super nice & kind guy.

Did Muffwiggler tell people to make a new password, when they changed the name to Modwiggler? I can't log in. I asked for a new password but I haven't gotten an automated reply yet. It's been a minute already.

My friend has an Oberheim OB-XA synth he wants to repair. Does anybody know of a good synth repair person in the Chicago area? Anyplace else to research this besides Modwiggler?

Rock n Roll Vintage seems to have a lot of repaired/refreshed synths in their listings on Reverb - either an in-house person or they know a tech. Might be worth a contact there.

Is there anyone who has/has played the latest revision of the EAE Halberd?
i'm curious about it and would love to hear some first hand impressions. I'd like to know how much of the original TOAN is preserved or how dramatically it changes it: I went through some demos but haven't found one that shows how it behaves stacked after other pedals except the one from just Megan.
The Longsword is one of the pedals i used the most during 2021, but its distortion qualities even out a lot in the upper range, and while I know the topology of the Halberd is different from it, we're always talking about transistor gain stages, though it seems to be more dynamic-responsive, especially in the top end.

I wanna buy an amp which would work well alongside my Orange in a biamp rig. Can anyone suggest something? There's so many options my head is spinning. Needs to be a head, not a combo. Something nice n loud which loves pedals. Preferably one that isn't hard to find on the used market either. Price not a huge issue but I can't pay much over 1k really.

Do you need something clean-ish to complete the usually crunchy orange sound or are you looking for something along the lines of the amp you already have?
