If I added a brain cell for every stupid thing I did . . . . I might would be able to figure out what that actually might mean  :idk:

Some more Pladask pedals came in. Nabbed a Fabrikat and a Romfred. Really hoping to find their delay restock soon.

I also just discovered Fjord Fuzz and holy shit I want them all lol. Might order 1 or 2 of them soon.

Finally, the Oberheim Two Voice Pro reissue news has me legitimately going crazy. Apparently only ONE small batch will be made, and it'll be priced close to $5k. After squandering opportunities to get one years ago, I will go all out to get one of these as it may be his last synth.

I used to have one! it was a cool special distortion device! Don't forget to hook an expression pedal to warp between sounds ;)

I acquired my first one here on ILF, traded for a Yamaha Magicstomp. The Magicstomp has long since been replaced by the Digitech RP360. I tried Warps as a rack replacement for wavefolding and it was just ok, nothing special, certainly no variety like with octaves and eq and shit. The time spent without the soundblox just made me realize that it's irreplaceable and in its own class. Big ugly duckling misfit that always gets made fun of for being so nerdy and oddly dressed, but can solve all the problems the regular kids don't understand...yeah that's the one for me.

It's a big box thing too...I like big box pedals, aesthetically. Not on pedalboards so much, but strewn about on the table or floor for random order swapping, oh yeah.

The other night I restarted my soundcard twice, rebooted Logic, then my computer, then cracked the shits over technology being a giant piece of shit before I saw that my monitors were turned off.

It's baby's first MIDI controller!

This was pretty cheap, I assume partially because it has 5-pin midi outputs rather than the new mini-usb, which is exactly what I need for the ZOIA anyway. Gonna build me a synth patch tonight. Plus last night I created a template patch for all the knobs and sliders, so I can also create, like, a delay pedal with 17 controllable parameters.

Suddenly got my dream setup over the course of a couple of weeks. Swapped an Elektron A4 MkI and a Shift Line Astronaut III for an Erebus V3 and a Digitakt. Took a pic before adding a mess of wires to that.

The Erebus sounds bloody gorgeous. I used to have a V2 (which is one of my favorite synths) and I'm glad to have Dreadbox back in my life.

There's also a bass, a DOD Carcosa and a Shift Line Olympic MkIIIS to top this off. Time to make some new music!

:yay: ^^^^ nice :yay:

Thanks to Mr Akimbo I have just ordered a Zoia, which should be here tomorrow :)

I've got to pop out in the afternoon for my first covid vaccine jab but it should be here by then, and it seems like a fair reward for being a brave boy.

Thanks!

Good choices on both the Zoia and the vaccine :thumb:

this is very :omg: :omg: :omg: :thumb: well chosen
Thank you! Feeling really stoked about this setup :joy:

In the spirit of my recent posts in this thread, I did spend a few minutes trying to make paraphony work on the Erebus before realizing one of the oscillators was turned off
