The mooer analog flanger is pretty good but it's no BF-2. If I were you I'd swap a dirt for something else fun hehehehe
Thanks! Yeah, there's absolutely nothing wrong with neither the muiff or the distortron, they do exactly what I want them to do...
But after a while you can't help but try something new, just for the hell of it, right? I've been looking for a EAE Dagger or SS/BS Mini, but they're pretty much non-existant in the EU :(

Also, I can't remember why I sold my The Elements back in the day
I think it was because that for the money I could have two other dirt pedals, and the The Elements has one preset switch for a ton of different overdrive and fuzz sounds.

So yeah, swapping of the dirt pedals with a more versatile fuzz/od pedal could free up space for something fun. I looked up the size of the MD-200 btw. It wouldn't save a ton of space, but every lit bit helps, and I'd get a whole bunch of other effects as well, not just flange+chorus.

New ideas and sounds keep flowing out, though obviously not in the most experimental abstract way. The redpanda/chasebliss/etc rabit hole just isn't for me, I've come to terms with the fact that I'm a bread and butter kinda guy when it comes to effects. Anyway, this bunch of pedlols are doing a great job helping me forget I actually suck at guitar :)

However...Not sure if this is the right place for this, but if anyone has good tips on how to add at least one more pedal (ehx 720, my fz-2 or octapluss,...)...let's hear it :idk:
I love the BF-2 to death, but it's not like I compared it to much else. For all I know a there's a great mirco size clone out there :idk:
I could swap both the BF2 and Mooer chorus with an MD-200, if anyone can confirm at least the basic flange/chorus/phase sounds from the MD200 are any good.
Clusterfuzz could be replaced with the Jr version, the turbotuner can be replaced with something smaller, the ST2 compressor might be a bit wider than a Fairfield Accountant,...Anything else?
woof this board is rad!

I mean sure its not chase bliss stuff but I am confident that you probably could go really nuts with that nemsis and slo.

Thanks. It's crazy versatile too. Really overused term to describe gear, I know. But it's just a great tweakable tonebender with a wide range of useable distortion&fuzz.

Btw...unless there's another UglyCasanova sharing Nemesis presets in the Neuro app...I think I just had a ton of fun with a couple of your presets :)
I forget what they're called, don't have my phone with me...but one is a low end drone, the other one does a pretty convincing rainbow machine type thing. Good stuff :thumb:

Yeah, the Nemesis keeps amazing me. Such a powerful machine. The Slö isn't a big super complex unit with 20 presets and menus, but it does a handfull of GREAT sounding dark delays without eating up too much board space or giving me option anxiety with a bunch of controls and switches. Just one more slightly weird pedal would be nice too though, right now everything is centered around the delays and verb. Chorus and flange are cool, but having just one fun/ususual effect to throw in the mix could help me from getting bored with myself. The Chase Bliss units seem a bit too challenging though, I don't think I have the patience to really get deeper than the unpredictable finnicky surface :/

Just curious, cause I'm a huge fan of the DE7, and you obviously don't put just anything on your board...

Does the CF7 somehow have similar mojo as the DE7? Any reason in particular you didn't just go with something that's a bit better build? I'm happy with my current flange/chorus choices, but a combo pedal might free up the much needed board space, so who knows...
The CF7 is a better all around pedal than the DE7, in my opinion. Although, I'm not someone who likes the dull warm analog repeats, which the DE7 excels at. especially for digital. But the CF7 is amazing -- flanger is one of my fav effects, you can dial in a really light and trebely one, which is a sound that I never really hear but I absolutely love. The Chorus is good, but the added Vibrato sound is killer, super simple and dynamic. It's really a good Chorus, Great Vibrato, Amazing Flanger, and a ring mod(!!) in one. It rocks. I actually took if off my board and gave it to my other guitarist, because I wanted to cut my mod sounds down, but he literally uses it on everything. They're both amazing, but CF7 is pretty damn awesome -- really unique, full sounds. And a ring mod. ring mod.
