Hah, did the Sunn with Stickers come from skullservant? I don’t remember seeing this on his feed but feels like it could have been him.

First band practice back as Corona lockdown eases. Was good to get loud again. The amp below the Orange is an HH S130. It's just the power section of the VS Musician amp, I think. 100w solid state. I use it as a power amp for my Boxidizer. It's loud as fuck. And the front is glow in the dark!

Zilla 2x12 has Neo Creambacks in it. Marshall is one of the studio cabs.

They're decent! Pretty good vintagey kinda sound. High end is nice and smooth on them - quite hard to get them to sound harsh - which has made them sound a tad muddy with a couple of amps, but it just means a bit of extra EQ consideration sometimes. They're not mind blowing, just pretty smooth and 'nice'. It's not a particularly adventurous sound. If you want something a bit different, or perhaps more open sounding, I'd look elsewhere. If you want a reliably 'nice' sounding speaker, they'll do well. How lightweight they are is a huge plus.

Duane Denison of Jesus Lizard tried them and said he loved the high end smoothness, but thought the lows were lacking and the mids were so-so, which I guess I agree with.

That wooden case is cool and makes it look like it belongs to a hut in the middle of the alps.
