Got the Pigtronix micro Disnortion in today! One step closer to finishing the 'bone board.... sadly the Ditto+ I ordered jumped to 9-12 weeks lead time...

yep. mids boost and turns off the tone knob. I got it used. AFAIK no one is making them anymore. Robo Pedals was for a minute, but not sure if anymore. It's really a lush sounding muff.
comping: voodoo labs PP+2. I finally decided against the Truetone CS12 because it isn't enough outputs to do my whole board as separate and I need that because my current board is persnickety with buzz.. so I'm just going to add a 2nd voodoo right now.. it's a shame the PP+3 isn't out yet.. that would have worked but I am not going to pre-order a power unit..
I just ordered an Arcades with the Generation Loss and Grains cards
Those would be the first two I would get. Please report your findings.
So I got it on Monday and spent awhile going through the Generation Loss card this week. I absolutely love it! I put it in the aux send of my mixer and have been digging into different modes with the Matriarch. I honestly haven't found a mode I don't like. It just makes everything sound so good! I haven't tried the Grains card yet; maybe I should have just found myself a Generation Loss pedal instead

I have not played with an original GL pedal but I too LOVE the card in Arcades. I speculate that the card can provide all the sounds in the original GL but not vice versa.
Look forward to seeing what you think of Grains. I have to admit that all of these recent granular pedals have not hit the mark with me, haven't been able to empathize with folks' enthusiasm for them so was skeptical about the Grains card but I really like it. It suits my playing enjoyment well.
I've known about it for a long time but never expected to get to try one out, this is the only demo I've heard of it which I suspect doesn't cover much ground but still sounds amazingly cheesy in the best possible way http://jeffcreamermusic.com/eh-8000-guitar-synthesizer/
