Having checked the tracking on the reVOLVER, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's wrong.

Nothing to worry about yet, but having last been marked off as being about ten minutes drive from me, it says it's on its way to Edinburgh (5.5hrs drive from me).

So, with a bit of luck, it'll arrive tomorrow :)

If not, it might need a phone call or two before it arrives . . .

Do I want an MBD2 or Idiotbox No Moon , or a Keeley Eccos

So many good choices
MBD2 is pretty amazing. It goes from just a little to way too much. I love mine and use it for way too much.

Yeah it’s horseshit because as a fellow sales bro I have used the “it’s below my cost” line before. I knew the deal was too good to be true. Even if they came back and gave me cost + 10% I would have paid the difference. Just typical online crap so no hard feelings as long as my refund comes through.
That deal was too good to be true. I was motivated to immediately look up the listing before even reading the thread and how it turned out  . I think I may have used that retailer in the past...or considered them.

That’s what I am probably going to get after I get refunded - there is a snazzy blue one offered at Chicago Music Exchange

I will buy a no moon at some point just to have those sounds again - but yeah staying away from that seller for now

Yeah.. but it isn't your fault they can't math... shouldn't be allowed to do takebacks after sale...
Very true, I have had many sales where I had to just eat it because I missed something. This just shows me the type of store they are so I am just gonna move on and leave my review for others.
Hey MaxMaps sorry that happened to you man. The seller Coast Sonic has always been great with me. But I also live in California so it’s not hard to get good service and shipping in state. Yet I understand and agree with you about the transaction because that is just lame as hell. He should of honored what he offered to you. :thumb:

Yeah from about 2005-2008 I didn’t play music at all. I hated it too. I am so happy I found my love and passion for it again. Any idea of what else you might want to get?

So far here is what I have going:

Bass - Darkglass Element - Seymour Duncan Bass Compressor - TU3

Right now I am just bed room noodling so my genera is all over the map because I love so many different styles of music and bands (always had really eclectic tastes). I am just in woodshed mode but between breaks I am really missing Dirt and Delay which are my two favorite effects. When I was super GAS'ing (IE when I joined ILF) most of my pedals where all really extreme fuzzes (shiva, shoegazer, soda mizer, ect) and reverbs / delay. I never got along well with other types of modulation but I would noodle on a dreamy delay all day long if I could, however I was too busy collecting rather than playing.

I am about 100% sure I am getting a MBD2 by Damnation Audio based on multiple votes here - after that some sort of delay which right now is a Keeley ECCOS. That should keep the GAS in check as I just grind out playing more and focus on re purchasing off the utility gear I gave away  (like my pedal board, power supply, DAW interface, better cables,) - I get some money for Christmas / Birthday so all of that goes towards a new bass.

Really trying to keep myself in check when it comes to buying because in the six years or so I have been absent - a LOT of cool shit has come out.

I hear the MBD2 is killer on bass. I think you can find some great dreamy delays out there. Haven’t tried a ECCOS personally but it seems like a Deco with more options. I love my Deco if that helps.

Thankfully it changed its mind about visiting Edinburgh, and arrived here just now :)

Velcro removed, rubber feet added and a place found for it (for now) amongst the chaos - time to see if it works

Missed having a tele. Ordered this Squier Classic Vibe. The plan is to refinish the body in shell pink and perhaps slap a mint green pickguard on it down the line. :snax:

It's funny, because I was also wondering if I should drop one of my 7 strings guitars and get a tele!

Nice !

I think about buying another guitar from time to time, but always end up spending the money on another pedal instead.
