Yes, 2x15W is surprisingly loud. I never thought it would be loud enough to keep up with a loud drummer, but if you do not need clean tones - it is more than sufficient.
ratrod wrote:and nice and quiet thanks to the power conditioner
Well, the power conditioner is surely helpful to keep things quiet, but the secret weapon to keep everything completely quiet is the Lehle P-Split with its Ground-Lift. A simple, easy to use device with great results. I am using for six years now and never had any trouble with using dual amp setups since then. Even in mono-Setups it is helpful to avoid ground issues between pedal board and amp.

It is a great little amp, the Natural channel (which I use exclusively, dirt or boost comes from pedals) sounds very close to my Rocker 30, the Dirty Channel has a kind of JCM800 twist to it with a more pronounced upper midrange than you would usually find on a Orange. It works also great in the lowest wattage setting to practice at home, it has got some very usable, neighbor-friendly tones with a 1x12. In comparison to the Dual Terror the Natural channel sounds a bit darker on the BH Terror, but they complement each other quite well.

I dig it a lot. I needed something for tour that could go toe to toe with my JMP as far as volume and tone, and yea it sound really fucking good. Its the big boy orange sound minus tubes and the work that requires.

Snagged a positivegrid bias rack processor on Black Friday for a good price. Needed something to play through headphones in my apartment. Super happy with it and the massive amount of tones to choose from.
