I liked the middle pickup on my old strat but all my guitars now don't have them. oh wait the bass vi. But I don't love any of the pickups in that.

Don't want to go off topic but I strongly support this. I always play either with the middle pickup on the strat, or in middle position with both pickups going on with my other guitars. It's the only configuration that gives me the right amount of bass and attack at the same time.

I too almost exclusively use both humbuckers, or, if on a single coil setup, the middle pickup. Gotta have that warmth & clarity 1-2-punch!

You could also look at it as if there is only one pickup on the guitar than that pickup is the closest to the bridge and therefore all single pickup guitars only have bridge pickups. :wizard:

There should be a Grabber style movable pickup kit.

No death threats or bans yet so I think we have a better scope for constructively disagreeing

I think neck pickups sound nice. It is just almost never a sound I want even if it is a nice sound

there's a local neo-jazz/funk band and the guy plays one of those space age looking things. i think it's got no fretboard, just frets. anyway, that's got a sliding pickup that he moves around while playing.

Rearranging some stuff and we are now at v02 of 2020. The main changes are removing the MF101 (just too dang big), w a xerograph deluxe in place. EBS multicomp underneath is gone and Cali76 CB cam up top. Mattoverse kick bumped to another board, SV boost off, ditto moved and Rumblefish added as well as Stamme[n] which will really be a rotating spot. The gaping hole will probably get filled w a Red Panda Context v2...we'll see.

Now:

I also decided to keep the looper board as an offshoot of the preamps.
