Here's a really bad pic of my whole guitar family.

Image

Parker PDF60, Squier Bass VI, Fender MP Starcaster, Gibson Marauder from the 70s, Charvel Starcaster and my Fender acoustic.

Still GASing for a Gretsch, an electric 12 string and a better acoustic guitar.

It changes daily  and depends on the music I'm playing.

The Charvel's the newest of the bunch so I've been taking that everywhere now. The previous owner had emg actives installed in it. I was really worried about that but it turns out they did a very clean job and it actually sounds awesome. Somehow it's still very clean and jangly but it's just so much more... Predictable.

And it doesn't even screw up my fuzz tones :thumb:

I like it, though I don’t use it the way it was intended.

It’s a Glissentar, which is fretless and has 11 strings. I wanted something lute-like, which means coursed, unison nylon strings.

I bought that used for cheap and tied nylon frets on, and it sort gets in the lute camp, though nowhere as nice as the real deal.

Interesting! I should have counted the tuning pegs. I've always been tempted by their weird acoustic/electric things, but I find most are a little more expensive than I'd like

Got finished repainting this NR Firebird, stripped the nasty polyester and repainted in nitro in a much lighter burst and made the headstock sorta like the Bill Frisell Jag look.
i'm in a bit of a rut with the 3xp90 set up on my NR 'bird so I might get a new guard made and go 2xFB like this one.
