Strange, but true, my band’s video is premiering over at Gear Gods:

clip is no longer unlisted on Youtube.

I did the stop motion stuff and the whole thing was assembled by our bass player:

Team GEKKEN assemble! All sounds here generated by the Gekken ribbon synth.

The video processing here is dead simple stuff, but I'm actually rather pleased with how it came out.
solo (mostly ambient): https://heraclitusakimbo.bandcamp.com/
duo (electroacoustic vibration exploration): https://wenderlypark.bandcamp.com/
trio (tapes/voice/clarinet/synth/poems): https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/

Had a last-minute chance to fill in for a friend at an improvised gig, so my gear was kinda tossed together. I usually rely on having my mixer at the end of everything, so my challenge here was to get by without it.

Melodica + Gekken ribbon synth into 856 for Zellersasn > Moment machine > cheapo reverb > mini Kaos pad (with one of the outputs going to the main amp, the other going through the 60 Second Delay and Bakvendt into a mini tabletop amp).

I felt when I was playing that I was a bit too loud at times, but maybe it's not so bad? The guy on trombone was playing quietly a lot of the time.

Live video from a gig with my band Old Believers last weekend.
The band is usually a trio(trumpet, guitar and drums), but at this gig we had friend playing upright bass and another friend reading some poetry he had written for the gig. We had a mesh/gaze/drape in front of the stage and where projecting a video collage on it. Looked pretty rad!
