the major shoegaze bands i couldn't get into before. i ordered a 3-pack of Cranes discs off eBay, and they came with a free copy of Lovelife by Lush. i tried listening to them back in the 00s but couldn't get to it, but that record went straight into my bloodstream. it's not uncommon for this song to get stuck in my head for hours.

and then there's Ride. i don't love the Nowhere album, but heard this track from the 2d album and it turned me around on the subject of Ride.
