This isn't my main, but it's my main for doom/sludge:

For anyone that wants to know......this is the guitar that Gibson wouldn't build me, no matter how much $ I offered them...SS frets, ebony board, gold MOP inlays, PRS McCarty pickups, etc.

Damn those look good with the EGC necks. I do want one but they would cost significantly more than any of the guitars I have I could put them on.

The RGI neck was on a Squier body until I could afford the Fender. And T-60s can sometimes be found with messed up necks somewhat inexpensively (at least in the states).

haha I could never go for a T-60 for the weight but they're pricey here.

I get that if it makes an amazing guitar in the end for the money the relative cost of the neck and the rest doesn't matter at all. But it still feels odd to me. :idk:

At shows, I am playing this partscaster with a TT neck:

At home, I mostly practice on an Ibanez arch top (AFC95).

Solid color and/or rosewood board T60s are Poplar and are significantly lighter.

I love the T-60 and can handle the weight. The necks are super thin C shape.....which I couldn't live with.

T-40 was the bass that caused me to strain muscles in my neck/shoulder after a 2hr practice. Ended up having to get a 4" wide flexy strap to even use it again.
I've had other tanky basses but damn that thing was a straight up boat anchor.

I think I finally figured out the resize thing?

The top and neck are NOrth Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia sissoo), back is Mahogany, fretboard is Buttonwood (Conocarpus Erectus). Hipshot locking tuners, Harmonic Design Z-90 pickups, Faber Wraparound.
