Does anyone know if Rev K 'E' switches are supposed to be 2way or 3way? I've emailed Scott just a few minutes ago, but seems like he might be busy from reading post here.

The E toggle (for expression) is a three-way.

Go into Mode 3 with the E toggle all the way up. Record loop. Only one loop should be playing (controlled by top knob).

Now switch E toggle to 2nd position. Now two loops should be playing (2nd loop controlled by 2nd knob).

Now switch E toggle to 3rd position. Now three loops should be playing (3rd loop controlled by 3rd knob).

Is that not how your CT5 works?

The switch only has two positions. Granted I got it in 2016 and I know there's been changes since it came out, curious if they were always 3-way or it was an update.

My CT5 from 2016 has a 3-way toggle for the Expression pedal input.

The reverse on the CT5 is always so dynamic and fun.
Even when not tweaked after the fact, having a reverse
churning away is a many-splendored thing.

Thanks, man!

For the below short clip I also used the CT5 as well as a
CooperFX Outward, Drolo Stamme[n], Dr. Scientist BitQuest,
and a mtl.asm Your & You're, all running together in a washy drone.

Today I used a Boss EV-30 dual expression pedal with the CT5 and it really
opens up so many possibilities. Knob-twiddles are fun, but being able to
micro-adjust while having both hands on the guitar allows for keeping things
in key and moving the sound waves just how you like.

Tomorrow I'm going to go pick up a 2nd TRS cable (EV-30 only ships with one TRS cable).
So over the next few days I hope to record some stuff.

Every time I start gassing for some shiny new glitch pedal I plug into the CT5
and am reminded that it is really a dynamic, incredible pedal. It does so much.

Hmm.... having a dual expression pedal makes getting a second CT5 an even greater idea.

Hi!
First post here, wanted it to be in this thread since CT5 really turned me on to this forum, which is rad :!!!:
Actually read it wholly in a fit of madness... edit: the thread not the forum

To business: CT5 is neither delay nor looper, it´s really an unorthodox (read exciting new) concept of synthesizer.
Like e.g. the Benjolin ot the Flower Electronics stuff it´s a patch in a box, an instrument, inspiring to play, it strikes me without even having one.
I want to put my voice through it, field recordings, put it in a feedback matrix, even use it with guitar

I totally need one, and I´m not needing much of anything really besides water and air...
Since I´m hearing a new batch is on it´s way, I´d rather pay a fortune to it´s creator, than even more to any fishy vendor at reverb (I´m from Germany, tax, shipping really adds up). :grumpy:

One thing I´d like to ask the maker, if I would perspectivly get a 2nd one am I right in that the pot controls are the usual suspect voltage dividers from 3.3V to 0V, which can be modded to accept cv inputs (not in the original housing of course)?

Cheers everyone! :animal:

I really like the Graphic World posted in this thread!

Hey!

Yes it you can do that for all the pots but not the MIX pot. The mix pot cannot be CV for this design.

There is already an expression pedal input you can assign to 1 pot. But if you want all 3 yes you will need to mod it somehow.

We shoudl have some ct5 in about 2-3 weeks. You can signup to our newsletter or follow @mtl.asm on instagram and you want to get notified when.

welcome to the forum!

Thanks! That´s good news-

Yes, I already signed up for your newsletter, also thanks for the clarification re: the pots,
of course the mix happens in the analogue world. No need for conversion of the dry signal-

Cheers

Hi Scott - I sent my pedal back for repair and it arrived on Apr 23.
Please let me know if you had a chance to diagnose the bypass issue with the footswitch.

Thanks,
Dan
