You liking that snake bite reverb? I had one for a while. Sounded really good, but some of the controls were realllly subtle. Might have just been mine.
Pretty big fan of the Snake Bite. It's a huge cut above all the other cheapo tweakable reverbs (the ENO one is kinda cruddy even by by standards). I tend to set it and forget it until I realize the sounds are too over-the-top/not over-the-top enough for what I'm doing at the moment and then tweak accordingly. The low-pass filter does some stuff, but I don't get much use out of the Centre Frequency (or whatever CFR is supposed to be). The pre-delay is nice.

It also works great to murkify vocals if you decide to toss off a goofy country song: https://clyp.it/bkdf302d

duo (electroacoustic vibration exploration): https://wenderlypark.bandcamp.com/
trio (tapes/voice/clarinet/synth/poems): https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/
band (spontaneous kosmische): https://stargoon.bandcamp.com/

I also help co-ordinate Okta, ILF's collaborative community ambient project: https://okta.bandcamp.com

I had one for a while but flipped it for something else that grabbed my fancy. It was a good reverb, especially for the price, but yeah I didn't think the CFR did much.

New board pic with a few updates here and there. The Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl Hi Fi just came in and it's by far my favorite Chase Bliss ever. The chorus tones are so fucking good on it. Combined with my Tensor it sounds like heaven.

It really is hi fi like it says, so I love the tone. I can get it a bit darker by messing with the tone knob. Everything I've got out of it is amazing. Non traditional or traditional. I sat there and messed with it for over an hour. A lot of fun.

Also worth knowing that this is the first Chase Bliss pedal I've ever used that I wanted to save presets.

Still waiting for a couple of pedals to arrive, so in the meantime I've filled the space with my old DM4 :)

What continues to amuse me is that to power it all I have one 6 way with two 4 ways plugged into it, with 10 different wall-wart power supplies plugged in, plus a number of daisy-chains.

Despite this there's very little noise with the Katana running on 1/2 w, i.e. I can plug the guitar in with no pedals switched on and you have to lean close to hear anything, no hum :)

Obviously there are some pedals, like the TAFM, which make noise when switched on, but if the gate is engaged it's silent until I play, even with the Westone and its P90.

Paul_C!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S KILLER

I should be more surprised that it is quiet with all them warts and chains, but i am starting to think that pedal power is a myth
