It most certainly is! That's awesome! I hope you use the drawings!TwinAmCathedral wrote:Thanks! Nice avatar, that's Shintaro Kago right? I got him to draw my band haha. Haven't used the illustrations for anything yet though, also my drummer moved away so I'll have to figure that out.

Great choice with the BX-3! I love it to pieces, especially in combination with the BOSS RE-20!
I bought my exemplar a few years ago - it was defective and I had to refurbish it. PM me if you have any minor issues with the organ.

Re: Let's see your KEYS/SYNTHS!
actual : Yeah it was a fun synth but obviously not the most fun to program and like the Blofeld I spent alot of time tweaking sound instead of playing. Also I think from the start I wanted something that nailed organ sounds but could also do more, I think I will be better off with a real organ for a while and buy another (probably cheaper) synth for other sounds, like an MS20 or Poly800 or whatever.
Pepe : Hey thanks, the output seems a little noisy but maybe it's because I'm on the low output and pushing the speakers too hard or something, I haven't really got the time to play with it still. I'm guessing you have the digital ''reissue'' with most controls over the keys instead of all on the side ? (bought a few years ago, refurbished it).

No, I have an original version from the late '70s. It was defective and I won it for 300 EUR at an eBay auction. It came from a former recording studio and it had a few broken parts inside. That's why I'm offering help if you should face some similar problems.

Re: Let's see your KEYS/SYNTHS!
Cool thanks !
It seems to work great for now, the low vibrato switch/touchpad seems to need some contact cleaning or something but still works. I'm really loving it so far and plan on keeping it. It sounds lovely (would be even better if I was a good player ! haha)
Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no way to turn it off right ? (except unplugging it)

The volume knob is the power switch, like in the MS-20. Turn it fully counter-clockwise and the organ is off. That's no standby mode.

I just learned that expression like last week and it pretty much sums up so many facets of my lifePepe wrote:Well, sometimes it's not easy to see the forest for the trees.

Re: Let's see your KEYS/SYNTHS!
I'm sick of endlessly flipping gear and not recording a single note. I will conquer or die with this simple setup:

JP-08 (x2), Volca Sample, Volca FM. Add my guitar rig and there's no reason why I can't make some good music.
The JP-08's are typically slaved together for 8 voices/2 sequencers, and the FM is synced to the Sample. I can sync everything via MIDI if I want to. The JP-08's run stereo through the Supernatural. The sound is massive with dual mode running simultaneous patches.

i loooooooove the JP8. couldn't click with the tiny knobs and such, but MAN it sounds so. damn. GOOD.
quick jam with the Manis Iteritas that i love every time i mess with (single shorter stabs through delay sound AMAZEballs), yet somehow forget to patch up. all the durps.
