Re: NGD!!! i built a tele
Decent bridge of any kind plus jag/JM trem should be very stable with the right setup.

Re: NGD!!! i built a tele
I wondered about the 3-way selector on Esquires for YEARS, only recently had someone explain it to me. Surprisingly really versatile!lefchr wrote:togglingPepe wrote:Now please tell me what the toggle switch is good for!
position one has a capacitor giving a cocked wah type sound
two is with the tone knob
three is just volume.
Anyway, super lovely guitar. I'd play the hell out of that thing!

Re: NGD!!! i built a tele
Anyone thinking of doing something similar to this I’m going to recommend some sort of grooved saddle. The strings sliding around a decent amount I just ordered the Callaham Bigsby saddles.
Other than that I love it. Still playing it all the time. I love the esquire wiring is really useful. I’m thinking I might use it more than a neck pickup. Not sure if I’m going to make that change or not right now.
The all parts V neck feels great in my hand nice and chunky.

Re: NGD!!! i built a tele
There's also some retrofit Tele roller bridges, usually for use with a Bigsby...

Not as classic looking as the regular Tele bridge, but it's an option. Slotted saddles will probably work fine.
