Just drove an hour and a half to help my friend, who is in a manic state, get his stuff from his now exgirlfriend's house.

There's a good chance I just wasted 100 bucks on a crappy old solid state head. I won't know till practice tonight but last night it kept turning off by itself. Well, not turning off. The led was on, but no sound.

I found out it has an emergency shutoff mode for when it gets overheated. But all it takes to overheat it is to play the damn thing at a decent volume. Fuck.

Unknowingly bought a united basic economy ticket. And now that I need to change my flight I can't. They also don't even allow carry on, which, the upgrade to non basic economy would have been less than the carry on fee.

Stupid United. That's $350 down the drain.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Have you tried talking to them? Given all their PR problems right now, they really need to be focused on customer relations. Maybe you can talk them into giving you a break.

They are indeed, because over here as soon as one airline institutes a fee, the others jump right on the bandwagon, leaving consumers with no real choice.

I'm sorry to hear that, but what you did was heroic. You're a good man, IM.

Yeah, I tried once so far. But it's a new class in the US that basically means you're about out of luck if it's not canceled within 24 hours

Sorry to hear that. You know, flying in this country just gets worse and worse, unless you can afford first class.

The best flight I ever had was on Cathay Pacific. It would be awesome if the government would let foreign airlines compete for domestic flights in the US. That might inspire the industry to re-think its 'hostage audience' attitude toward us. But I doubt that will happen any time soon.

That's not your fault.
CPR can't prevent brain death on a long enough time scale or under less than ideal circumstances (which is basically any instance wherein CPR must be performed). It's basically a last ditch effort.
Plus you're not a trained paramedic are you?
Go get some counseling dude, you're gonna end up with PTSD.
WWPD?

I swear the kids that live next to me in this subdivision are spoiled crazy, tryin to walk around with my daughter and check flowers out and relax, and this kid decides to walk with us, so...he complements my girl so I'm like, egh whatever ok come on, then he's like "can I curse"....no.....say I.....so then he starts talking, and I'm not liken him so I lead him into the bush to see how over grown it's all become, and he's like "this plant looks like marijuana"..

...ugh, what?

Your 8? Anyways I start to walk away ignoring him, then he says "see that kid he's a FAGGIT! and he listens to rap music", so I'm like "you don't like him cuz he listens to rap?", so he says "NO! HE'S FRIENDS WITH A FAGGIT!, SO HE'S A FAGGGGITT!" then I hope he realized I'm not having it, and he told me he had to go......sadly goes to same school my girl will be going to, this is why I was itchin for home school.
