 True. True.

There's a lot that's almost beyond repair though. If people don't see that it's in need of fixin' soon, there may not be enough time. :grumpy:

I've been going through all the leftover boxes in my room, now that I'm slowly turning my room into a mini workshop, and finding all the old toys and junk from when I was a kid is making me all nostalgic.

Absolutely. The shortsightedness needs to end.
The frustrating part is that there is now so much available technology to change the way we live for the better, both of ourselves and the planet, that we could start turning it around if people changed their minds and the big wheels actually listened. Even the stuff that seems like pipe dreams will probably be possible within the next 10-20 years.
The unrealistic within the next century, at most.
The problem is our thinking hasn't kept up with our thinking.

Hadn't occurred to me, iPope, that dubya dubya III could be an environmental clash. Whoa

Surrender to the madness. Have more of them. I no longer desire the sweet release of oblivion...night is merely another opportunity to gnash my teeth...for a living document of this bullshit, look at my post times...

Good luck dude.
I know your pain.
I think I may have brain damage for not sleeping more than 4 hours a night, in broken fits, for about 4 months when my daughter was little.
It ends, though.
So there's that.

Then they're calling you a "farty bum" and refusing to eat anything that isn't a potato that has been perfectly cubed into tiny blocks of starchy weirdness.

I got a vasectomy so this shit would never happen again.

Well, Samuel Jackson did a reading of it, but Werner Herzog did it better:
