I sold my gravitas and was planning to get the Throat Locust with part of the money, but thanks to Reverb's (justifiable) policies I won't get the money until just after the order window closes. Urk.

other contestant: OK, shoegaze that tune!

It's 5am. Had a nightmare about a little fat ginger kid following me and my gf, constantly breaking into our apartment and staring at us while we were sleeping. He just kept coming back, always with this cunning fucking smile on his face. I'm very disturbed and confused.

Got my car back from the transmission guys yesterday after shelling out $1650 for a fucking rebuild.
Today: its leaking trans oil.

I'm sure it wasn't deliberate, but I'm just so seriously annoyed that people cannot competently perform their fucking job, particularly when you are paying them $125 and hour to fucking do it.
It looks like someone forgot to seal the clutch to gearbox housing correctly.
It's fairly likely that when placing the gearbox back on they fucked the seal up, which isn't uncommon, but it's still annoying.
I left a message on their answering machine, but I'll have to wait until the morning to contact them.
I may have to miss a day's work as a result as well because I don't feel like driving it around, draining the gear oil and then fucking up the total rebuild that financially devastated me.

I've had a shitty day as well.
My managers grow more incompetent daily, and I blew a flat on a work van that took forever to change in the 34C heat and UV 17 sun.
I am burnt to shit.
I just want to have a cold shower and go to bed.

I hope it gets better man. Shitty days like that are so draining.

But two out of three random ILFers selected you as their ideal roommate. So...hang your hat on that?

I don't get what it is with mechanics fucking up simple shit ALL THE TIME.

A couple years ago a mechanic forgot to reconnect and clamp down the coolant hose from the radiator to my engine. I didn't make it very far from them. Smoke everywhere.

I feel like I have more stories but my brain isn't even running at 10% this morning.

(working on it)

(scheduling with this dude is gonna be a bitch)

Though to be fair that's where we draw a lot of our strength. Our African ILF contingent is pretty weak.
