Haven't seen the baby around that much but the regular one gets a lot of use, and they have the same sound you just don't have the toneblast and oscillation on stomps.
I love mine. I never used all the extra functionality, so the smaller footprint is a big plus. I normally leave the tone blast on, so I don't need it switchable.

I didn't realize the Avalanche run was only a 1590BB.

I love this little board much more than I thought I was going to on guitar and bass.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

This reminds me, I've been meaning to ask what "1590BB", etc means. What are the numeral terms attributed to different pedal sizes?

And how do you guys know all of this stuff?

Think everyone just uses the hammond part numbers for reference? I have no idea if there's any logic to it.

There are a few different ones.
Hammond (1550's, 1590's), EHX/ New Sensor (they're all pretty much the same as Hammond but they're a bit better, more expensive, and they have those nice wide screws unlike the normal 1590/125's).
There are a few alternate sizes made by various manufacturers like 6500, 125B/125BB, 1790, 2090, etc.
Most pedals are gonna be one of these sizes if they're aluminum die-cast.

When you've worked on pedals for a while, you tend to be able to tell what the size of something is on sight.
It's kinda like knowing what kind of wood something's made out of just by glancing at the grain.
