Incoming: Alesis Quadraverb GT. Hated them when they were new but now I want one for the gaze. And they are dirt cheap.

Email is freefalldiver@gmail.com and he accepts paypal. The unit that I received looks exactly like in the video, but Jean's may be a custom order?

From what I heard, the Tone Mosaique sounded like a envelope controlled bitcrusher with a tremolo. Very cool sound, but nothing like a PLL.cherler wrote:No shit, I've already been eyeing one of theseUglyCasanova wrote:I mentioned this but got cold feet and edited it away.lordgalvar wrote: Pretty sure on these three:

Yes, this. Mine is custom (reverse printed on plastic) - the production model is very cool looking - like a Japanese famicom (nintendo).dunbine wrote:8bit sub octave fuzz + modulation + stepper arpeggiator

The Alexander is custom too. Top Jacks (this will probably be the only time he'll ever do a top jack 125B) and I drew up the graphics as I can't hande the the full yellow pedal.
Have to stick with the grey/silver theme! Sorry builders.

Same chip, different application I believe.elevenstrings wrote:From what I heard, the Tone Mosaique sounded like a envelope controlled bitcrusher with a tremolo. Never opened up the holowon or tone Mosaique until now...But I was mostly basing the idea that they are PLL s due to the fact that they are almost functionally identical to the seppuku hysteresis which is a PLL iirc (cd4046). The LAL and holowon are just like the comparator section of a PLL. Definitely related in design....But I was wrong.

Also adding to the PLL list:
the Broughton PLL (Joshuabroughton@gmail.com)
KO Amps Squarewave Generator (discontinued)
Is the Mantic Flex Pro or Flex related to the PLL family?

speaking of Phase Locked Loop, the Ciat-Lonbarde Deerhorn "theremin" uses a PLL circuit with its two oscillators and pretty sure derives its CV outs from the PLL error signal.

Ieaskul F. Mobenthey Mocante
this uses PLL circuit too for its square drone and witch-tones, has little extra touch pads to circuit bend into all that. or somethin

Get yourself one of the modern replacement LCDs. Best $20 you'll ever spend on it.Hypnodrone wrote:Incoming: Alesis Quadraverb GT. Hated them when they were new but now I want one for the gaze. And they are dirt cheap.
And change the battery while you're in there.

You could peel off the rubber and get a replacement from eventide. They sell them on their store for like $12

Yeah I'm not upset about having to destroy the pad to get it off I'm annoyed that it wasn't mentioned. And I'm concerned because there is a screw under the rubber pad that might make a possible repair difficult because it's covered in super glue.Hobbes96 wrote:You could peel off the rubber and get a replacement from eventide.
