I am slightly to blame for my colds. I started putting plastic up over the windows last night, but got tired of it before I got to the outdoor door in my bedroom. At least I have a little space heater (and the building heat) to kick on in times of need.

Totally understand. The wind chill this morning in Wisconsin was fucking 2 degrees and my bed had a husband and cat in it. I am def missing the Las Vegas version of "cold", which was low 40's.
The Dwarfcraft crew and brood should adopt some bully dogs. They're great cuddlers and since they weigh sixty plus pounds they're great for keeping you warm.
They may or may not have a tendency for kicking you out of bed.
I would love to, but we have two older dogs who do not like their routines or spots on the couch disrupted. My sister has a big, dumb, and very lovable pit bull that is amazing for cuddles. I also love that they don't have much hair, so don't shed like our current doggos do.
I have a boxer/pit mix. She has some allergy problems. We find her "fur babies" hidden away all the time. But she's a lovable beast so I don't mind.
My entire family's apparently going out for dinner tomorrow night. They've been planning it for a while now. Guess who they decided to tell and ask to tag along just the day before? Just call me mister afterthought.

I can't show up. I already had plans, which is why it would be neat to know it was happening when they started planning it six weeks ago.
