Not sure how I'll use the maschine. Just dig the shit out of the idea. No practical experience yet.I dig not wanting to be tied to a computer though, that was the plan with the 500. For whatever reason the 500 and I do not get along. Love the MPC60/2000xl but man the 500 is a wiener, can't make it swing yo.

I'm so split on selling my Judder, I'll probably never sell it though.
It is flat out blowing my mind. It can't really do much in terms of cray endless ambient reverb tails, but for smaller weirdspace it is outrageous--convolving your base sound with the impulse response of a boa constrictor's gullet / elephant's ear canal / idling uber's tailpipe / competitive eater's maw / marimba resonator/violin body/bass clarinet's bell/cajon what-have-you and manipulating the amplitude/frequency components of the convolution in realtime? I can't even.

I am slack jawed and slightly splundered. :wha?:

Serious option paralysis followed by serious inexplicable time lapse. :yay:

GAS killer? Kinda.

At this point the only next big thing I'm dwelling on is the IR Hunter reality show where an intrepid naturalist/sound designer spans the globe putting himself and his recording equipment at risk collecting audience-chosen IRs from the most outrageously dangerous and exotic specimens. :excellent:

As far as the front end of that little trade spree, letting go of Judder was like passing a gall stone, but that was really the part attached to the 200 gallons of # 2 fuel oil for Seymour "Feed Me" Furnace right after the last of the cash was expended on Xmas part.

Once that dam broke, the other stuff was sucked out through the hull breach creating the inexplicable appearance of funds to be burned as part of the Mungo summoning spell.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that I still have Cas' Revolver DT. And a Memory Loss. And Clouds. I am such a hoar der.

But not as bad as I used to be. :zen:

Edit--dat Irkalla looks great! Beautiful design encasing a beautiful fuzz mind.... Looking forward to a demo--I hope it lives up to it's promise.

And I'm waiting to see if FedEx delivers my damn synth today or not.

Argh.

I have enough documentation to sink ships...but...
