That second graves biz is killer.

We had a hell of time getting into the studio but once we did we burned through it all pretty quickly, had a ton of fun

The production and the songwriting are really nice.Corey Y wrote:

It's not announced yet, bruh. The new record will be on vinyl and CD, and we'll press some more CD's of the first two for tour.HeavyXIII wrote:Must have missed that announcement. Where can I find this info? Also: you guys doing any CDs soon?

New teaser sounds pretty rowdy. Like the album art, too.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Thanks for all the kind words
We've imploded as a band, which kind of sucks. The good news is that Krista (singer/guitarist/main songwriter) and I have already been working on new songs with a new drummer. Should have a name and some new stuff ready soon, and hopefully shows asap.
This Saturday is our last Second Grave show. Then onward to new things!

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I have a 50W custom amp that I had made for playing surf rock a while back. 50W Brownface style Showman, but with mid control and a control the builder labeled "raw", which I guess is a little more gain or something, it's a super clean amp so it just gives it a little more juice at lower volumes. I've never really played it above halfway and always just played it with my Jag and Strat for surf stuff. I just plugged it into my doom demo rig for fun and HOLY SHIT does it sound massive. I have to keep the volume down to about 1, but the base tone is just HUGE with fuzz or distortion pedals running into it. I'm in the process of mentally cataloging all my gear and thinking about doing another big purge/consolidation to fund some purchases I want to make. So I think I might just keep the 50W Showman as my main amp and get rid of my 15W head I've been using at home. Which sounds amazing, but you know...redundancies.

Traynor DH15H, good pedal platform. I've liked it a lot, but I'm going to sell it now and just keep the showman for everything.HeavyXIII wrote:What 15 watter have you been using?
