T-Resonator is weird, I could never get it to work correctly and just got pissed off and sold it.

It does seem to have a really high learning curve.

Yeah it really does, I think it probably has one too many places to create feedback, if you want to use more than one feedback source at a time it requires such a delicate touch not to cascade into 'HWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'. I'm using this on my board as a very nice sounding envelope controlled lfo filter for less crazy sounds, a rhythm destroyer for the murf, and then sparse echoing/delayed feedback squeals.D.o.S. wrote:It does seem to have a really high learning curve.
Seperately i love it as a noise source / soundscape creating tool. It also loves my tetrax

That is awesome! It's hard for me to even fathom how you could come up with an idea like that. I guess CV really is the thinking man's midi.

1) I listened to a lot of Steve Reich for a whileThurberMingus wrote:It's hard for me to even fathom how you could come up with an idea like that.
2) I smoke a lot of pot, so that probably helps

But yeah playing with CV over the last two months has been incredibly enjoyable. I'm making one big pedal grab on Black Friday, then I think my music expenditure in 2017 is going to be (mostly) dedicated to building a Eurorack setup. SYNCHRONIZE ALL THE THINGS!!!

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Curious - are you using trs or ts from the 8step? What depth setting are you working with? I find the sweep of the sliders is kind weird the way I'm doing it with a ts cable, usable but not a well spread sweep of settings.baremountain wrote: I threw this together this morning for y'all. Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
I have never had much consistent luck using TS for expression cables. I always stick with TRS now so I'd recommend that!

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
I thought the 8-step program outputted a control voltage? Or am I misunderstanding the blurb from the EHX website that says:
"Compatible expression inputs must accept a voltage source as the controlling signal. The expression input should also allow for an expression pedal TRS plug with the following connections: Sleeve = Heel, Ring = Toe, Tip = Wiper. The expression voltage present on the Ring of the TRS plug sets the maximum range of the controlling signal; this Ring voltage must be between 2VDC and 9VDC." ???
I recently emailed Scott from mtlasm about whether the CT5 accepted CV, and he said yes, but anything over 3V may damage the CPU.

Foxrox Aquavibe and INFANEM phaser out
Second Ricochet and Pitch Fork in. Along with moving a bunch of things around to make it work. Had to rewire like 5 times today to get around a noise issue with the Judder where it didn't want to be after the Pitch Fork. Had to try a ton of configurations to figure out that was the problem.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
The problem was the judder made a ton of noise if it was after the pitch fork. But because there are a bunch of other pedals before it with various potential to cause problems I had to move the pedal around to see what was up.
