Woo a) you're back b) electribe sampler is fun. I have the same model, also don't understand the naming at all. It's cool though.

If I remember correctly, the revisions of Electribe samplers are :
- ES-1
- Same thing with a different paint job
- ES1-X, which is a different beast with more things and even some tubes in there for good measure
- the recent "Electribe", which is much more newerer than the other ones

lol. yar. they DO like their paint jobs.

i had the og EM1, when they had the rhythm or synth or MUSIC versions that had..... rhythm and synth.

bought the EMX1, the big blue thump wobble with a toob. never really dug it.

kinda looking forward to the relatively stripped down, throwback but modern version? that is out now.

WOOPLES.

lol. dooooooooooood. i ALMOST went the Volca route. i bought the set of the first 3 they put out? so fun. made me itch towards hardware again.

but i just can't deal with stuff without save spots. that's on me. i don't have the fortitude or stick-to-itiveness to make myself stop and record an idea to use later. i need to be able to tweak stuff out and save it, then try out things to layer with it?

i'm hoping to replace using a laptop live (just use it in Live as a host for Komplete soft synths) with the Elector. MAN laptops are SO DAMN FUN when they crash or lose communication with the MIDI keyboard or do SOME OTHER DAMN WEIRD STUFF WHILST PLAYING.

hah. my grrL called me an IDIOT one show because the laptop crashed, we powered through and i added more stupid effects from bass noises. Proper Idiot Face Addressing because she caught a glimpse of the screen before i slammed the laptop shut and saw that during a PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM reboot it was...... installing the 200 windows updates. that i had forgot to turn off auto updating. DURP.

after a month or so of getting my head around the Electoranious i want to get an AudioThingies MicroMonsta. that looks NEAT.

(going to be moving unused gear like a Strymie Mobius and a PT Pro (gawd damn. HOPEFULLY locally.) and some other shtuff. i am in Sell Gear To Pay For Gear phase a bit.)

I finally got one of these suckers for the price I wanted (80 bucks) I wish I could find them for less but I've been lusting for lo-fi reverb. I don't have a reverb on my board and haven't had one for a while. Gonna make so much gaze with my dunwich HM-2 clone and boss ps-2 eeeee

That is an awesome price for that pedal! Nice job! The RV2 is considered lo-fi though? I've heard nothing but good things about it and STRANGE TALES loves his.

I guess I keep getting told its a bit noisey and lo-fi warm and I cant really tell from online demos but I really like my PS-2 and have owned two for like 4 years so I figured it wasn't too much of a leap to really like this pedal for subtle stuff.
