The one single thing I usually dislike about gibsons similar to yours: No neck binding. So I'd be in serious trouble of one like that would pop up in a local add or something...

Yeah. Gibson's naming conventions are a mess, especially with the Specials. This one is a 1995 Les Paul Special.

thanks again for the recommendation on the batumi
yeah those two look really nice together, and don't feel too cramped at all with both all patched up...unlike the IFM modules
I decided to go modular with the case too and went with make noise skiff's, this way I can just grab a row or two and go. Seems to be working out really great
