Nice.
Yeah I keep putting it off, because pedals, but I've gotta up my cable and power supply game.

My PS game is weak right now...... I keep thinking about the truetone one with the AC out for my timebender, it may be next on my list
buying cables and power supplies is no fun

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
I 90% agree with this, but I recently sprung for enough EBS cables to redo my board and it was the best gear decision I've made in a while. They're ridiculously low profile: enough so that if you have side-jacks you could probably fit another pedal. The Planet Waves ones are awesome, though.hbombgraphics wrote:buying cables and power supplies is no fun

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Those EBS-cables look neat. Not expensive either. Maybe my board should get a little make over.
It is really boring buying power supplies, specially when you could have bought a pedal or two for the same amount of money. But when everything is hooked up properly it feels real good having a proper power supply under your board. No more power strips and wallwarts.

Feels even better when realizing your idle noise floor has dropped due to the absence of a particularly noisy wallwart, or 3

EBS cables look killer,
Are they the same profile as the pancakes?
I understand the alure of the power supply but I am not sure I have found one that will power the whole board
True tone comes close
right now I have 2 onespots (one just for the pitch factor) and the PS for the timebender

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Not a bad thought, was using and ISO5 for the picky pedals for a while
if that thing had a courtesy out I would probably snag one,
I am midway through stripping down the PT-pro Do I leave it chrome or re-paint it?
Also: Thinking of raising the angle slightly with some mood style wooden sides, anyone ever do this?

Nope. That's a Switchcraft pancake, so your results may vary. I measure the EBS at .301", and the Switchcraft at .424". What really made up my mind, though, was that they're almost half as narrow. I'd rather roll my own, but I'm pretty committed to sticking to whatever size pedaltrain it is that I have.

I ordered EBS patch cables after seeing them on Eivind's board. They're super slick and cheap. I absolutely recommend them.

I'm rolling my own now. My OCD overcame me and I have to have all of my cables the EXACT same length. I'm also making a few longer ones in 6" increments. It's awesome

that's legit dude, so if you need a 15 inch patch it has to be 18 inches?

Dr Scientist (Tremolessence, Elements, RRR, BitQuest)
LAL (Misty Cave)
I abandoned pancakes after trying to use them with the above pedals. Some don't fit at all next to each other/when everything including the dc jack is top-mounted, others are cramped and put stress on all movable parts within proximity. The shallow profile is a good concept, but the wide, oblong footprint is poor form. If only they had the footprint of something like a George L's jack. Those things prove to be among the most versatile in terms of fit.
I can more easily make room for extra plug depth than side-to-side space. The tradeoff I'm hesitant to make is solderless solutions are generally inferior...from connection integrity, to durability, to shielding used on the cable.

Yes. Otherwise I'm using the 15"er at X location and i think it's an 18"er so I'm scrambling to find the 15"er.hbombgraphics wrote:JonnyAngle wrote:I'm rolling my own now. Glad my brain isn't the only one that is broken
also: understand the disadvantage of the pancake jack on things with top mounted jacks near a DC jack,
My DL10 hates pancakes
