Tyrant Tone 50 watt

This is the guy that used to be half (the better half) of Emperor. Been waiting over a year to get it!

This is how he described it:

"You can think it is like an older jtm / bassman, but with a blend channel not 4 inputs just 3 like a Gilmore triwatt, the circuit is a little more cleaned up and latex out like a hiwatt. It has a tube rec but I have a solid state installed in the socket( it tightens it up) you can think it is closer to a hiwatt in the first input and a fender-Marshall in the second. Pretty much brite in the first and brown in the second. You can blend em in the blend input. Simple and straightforward. Mil spec with as little in between your guitar and speaker as you can have . Also a great pedal platform but in a 50 watt a great studio head. Check this one out and tell me what ya think. The head case could be better and I'll replace it for you if you decide to buy it.
This thing was made to be quiet and with the purest signal we could get out of modern components."

So much wattage tilts houses.

I just added my home-practice Orange AD-5 to the rig for another flavor, running dry on full volume to add some dirt. The small 10" speaker covers a nice spectrum above the 12" and 15" of the bigger cabs.Maybe this will become a permanent setup...

Can you post a pic of the chassis? Mil spec is quite a claim to make. Each individual joint would require a substantial amount of prep and cleaning time.

Cool! Also, I really don't mean the request as a criticism. I just see people talk about milspec all the time as if its synonymous with PTP or something but then they have flux all over their components and boards. If you look at what milspec really means for soldered assemblies its just a ridiculous amount of cleaning and prep before you make any joint. I cant imagine anyone really going through it for every joint in even a simple amp circuit.
