You can skip anything that says "eventide" or "digital" in the ring mod thread (-5 posts from the total I think). Or anything that is me rambling on about randomness that has nothing to do with the in practice use of ring mod....I can sum up all my cother omments with "yea, I like ring mod!". Saved you like 75 posts of reading!

Just got this beast. Scored it for $100. 80's hondo formula 1 " steve stevens ripoff" model. Set neck, nice rosewood board and binding. Neck is wizard thin! A lot of these were plywood bodies but this one is solid and super light. Hokey Lic. 6 hole Floyd Rose and grover tuners. Looks like it was never played. Jams!!

Sisterhood of the traveling sandwich! :joy:

It has so much output and its tone stack is more powerful than I thought it would be. At high gain it's practically a fuzz pedal. Gonna play with the internal trimmies tonight.

So I didn't know if this thread was appropriate for this or not, but fuck it. I got a Verellen Meatsmoke yesterday and OMFG it's amazing. My only wish is I hadn't waited so long to get one! I'm so happy I got the dual one though. The newer models have a whole set of extra eq knobs along with master volume and gain for the boost section. If I'm using my bass in passive mode, it's crunchy, punchy and fast blasting. If I use it in active mode. It's shakes the world. LOL! It's distorts like CRAZY even with the boost gain half way up. That was one fear of mine that it wouldn't get heavy enough. HAH! What a dumb thought that was! This things is probably the most amazing pedal I've ever used. Easily the most usable too. My only fear is that now I have mega fucking GAS for a Verellen amp. Fuck!!!
