I've been having such a shitty week at work doing 3 peoples jobs at once that I decided to plug the sadness hole in my heart with this. Complete irresponsibility is the best.

In great shape, everything works but the breath controller, and the whole casing is a little warped, maybe from being played in someone's lap for ages, but who cares I am in love.

The CS-01 has been one of those synths i just want to find at thrift store prices one day so badly. For actually about a decade. I'm still hoping to, one day. I really hope you enjoy yours; more synths need breath control of the VCF as an option.
Yeah, I'm enjoying it a lot! It's perfect for my use (mostly bass) and so glad I got it for cheap bc I'm poor. And breath controller is kind of genius, but I just can't get it to work or even get the damn thing open. Maybe I will just break it apart and try cleaning it up eventually. I don't know of anything else compatible (or as cool) as a controller. Maybe some sort of proximity sensor?
chrisdermo wrote:These are 1000% awesome. And you got the mkII with variable resonance. I had a mk1 for several years, and used it as a keytar in my band :erm:. I installed one of those highly liquid midi retrofit kits for it and ended up using it to make some aciiiieeeedd too. Then I stupidly sold it, and recently wanted to get one back and they now cost an absolute ton.

Moral: NEVER SELL ANYTHING. :picard:
Ahh, man that is regrettable... hope you find one at a reasonable price soon! I have a red Yamaha SHS10 keytar as well, that I got in a trade for a pair of corduroy pants.

INNNNNNNNN Hawk HE-2250 Stereo Tape Delay.

Literally just plugged in and started messing around with different settings.

I am absolutely in love.

Going to record more (better) clips tomorrow! Just had to share what this thing sounds like!

PUT ON HEADPHONES FOR THE FULL EXPERIENCE!

note: i have empress reverb plate setting running before the Hawk unit because i wanted to :cop:

(the noise level is a little loud here because i had the output of the Hawk all the way up, it doesn't need to be, next clip i will just turn the amps up)

Looks great!! Mandolins are way cool. I used to play mine a lot but it's like 150 years old (family heirloom) so it began falling apart and I haven't bothered to have it fixed. :erm:
