Hopefully yours is ok, but there is a recall on at least some of them. Something about the board coming loose in shipping or normal use, gigging etc. They are fixing them for free of course.

Yeah, got the email from Prymaxe. Decided to take my chances with it for now because it works totally fine (despite Prymaxe's weird overseas jiffy bag operation) :thumb:

Oh don't leave me out man! I live in Kansas and get jiffy bags too! LOL!! That's one of the main reason I hate Prymaxe.

Really? That's pretty fucked, I thought it was a way of convincing the import people here that the value of the contents actually IS 6 dollars. I mean, you wouldn't send a 300 dollar pedal in a jiffy bag on an airplane, right?
Surely they break a lot of pedals. Weird.

Yeah, that's a good thread. May be my favorite pedal thread of all time.

Going back a few pages, but Jwar: You get that Slicer yet? How are you enjoying it? I kind of think in my downsized electronic setup it might be an effect i could use to fill up a little bit more aural space?

Just arrived today! I put it on my board after re-organizing, then walked away and turned everything off. My neck still hurts and I'm too depressed to play right now. :(

psychic vampire,

Just for you, I went ahead and jammed out. LOL! I had a fucking blast! The Slicer is INSANE! LOL! It's definitely 100% a totally different beast than the Hologram Dream Sequence though. WAY fucking different. Like not even close to the same tones. I hate to say it, but the Slicer has more options on tap. The recording options is insane by it's self. It's a looper, but with nutso stuff. hahaha. It's really fun to feed it dirt. I need to move it closer to the end of my chain. I love the choppy settings though and that you can control the tempo on a dial.

Also there's different options for mono vs stereo. I know very little about stereo stuff. Can I even run it stereo? I'm literally an idiot with this stuff. I need to plug in an expression pedal and see what happens with that.

I barely tapped the surface before my neck was killing me too much. But I had fun!

You should make a pedalboard on a barbell. That way you can lie on the weight bench and play and the pedals will be right in front of you.

Fun fact, a lot of the psych/noise sections on France the Mute use the Slicer Extensively. I'll definitely get one again once I'm financially stable. :joy:

One of the best fuzzes I've purchased in many months. It progs, dooms, slices, dices, and circumcises. The controls are as interactive as advertised and surprisingly intuitive. Decidedly a keeper.

I've always wanted to try one of these and snagged one for a good price on Reverb.
