Where it really shines is the bass VI, I think. I've found that it doesn't necessarily play nicely with the MF Drive. There's some modulation that happens in the backdrop that I'm not crazy about. I've been experimenting with the LS-2 and have been finding myself using the Météore more for heavier parts. The Big Sky tends to get used more for the really high definition springy parts. It also plays more nicely with the MF Drive.

I have the two delays in different paths. My idea was to do some droning / percussion in one path, then switch via the volume pedal to the other path (with the LS-2 combining them, like a mixer). It's producing some pretty neat results.

The Gjengangar is also awesome to just have on lightly all the time.

Will try to do a video and share. Surf's up, dude.

I want a reverb pedal again, and another delay as well. Plus, I want to use my phaser, freeze, and d&s muff too.

...Moving back to the bigger board again :facepalm:

Ideas for Hotcake replacements would be welcome by the way. Don't need anything fancy, just a basic distortion or 'hairy' overdrive that's not as dar/muddy as the hotcake, and not as fizzy as a Rat :idk: Somekind of mosfet type miab kinda pedlol maybe? :idk: Something by way huge or mxr maybe? A good old boss od-3? :idk:

Or maybe a mini? I find the mini has more tone shaping potential

Dunno, haven't come across any clips that can convince me :idk:
Especially since I'd rather not spend that much on something that'll just be used as a no-frills distortion pedal. So most boutique peds seem kinda overkill for what I have in mind :idk:

Tomorrow the French "Fête de la Musique" takes place. So new board for our gig:

Image

I have place on the top row for one more pedal. I need a low gain OD. I want a F*ck or a Hungry Robot LG but I'll look for something cheaper. I also want to replace the iStomp with a digital delay for long and clear delays for the sounds I can't approach with the Tonal Recall. Thought about a cheap DD-6. It also has the Hold and Warp functions that are pretty cool and easy to find here for about 70€ used.

Chain:
- Jazzmaster/Cabronita-> CT5 -> Mini -> BitQuest -> iStomp (tuner) -> Volume Roller -> Tonal Recall -> Météore -> LS-2 (Procession) -> 720 -> AC15c1x
- Moog Sub Phatty -> Dark Star -> 720 -> PA
Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

This is my "band" board...not in a functional band now but it looks like it's heading that way.

If this is the case, i feel like there are enough sleeper pedals from Boss or old DOD or Ibanez things that aren't just the standard tube screamer/whatnot that something should be up your alley?
